I bought three different crystals from this seller: black tourmaline, citrine, and amethyst. There were a lot of mixed reviews, but I decided to see for myself and gave it a try. This is my conclusion: the crystals are real...but they're not as they appear. Specifically the citrine. What I got was real crystal, but it's likely heat treated amethyst. Real citrine isn't that common to find, anyway, let alone on Amazon. Genuine citrine has a natural tone more in line with a smoky quartz, but with more of an olive tone. IF it were any true form of citrine, the closest thing would be candle quartz. But in my honest opinion it is just heated amethyst and I say that because of the distinct orange ends that some (not all) of the pieces have. Let's keep in mind, though, citrine IS aged amethyst, this is just not naturally aged to be considered "authentic".I'm not mad at it, it's pretty much what I expected simply based on the pictures, and they're pretty. No bubbling like you'd see with glass, fracturing within the stones that refract light and give that classic crystal characteristic. Ultimately it's what I asked for: a real crystal that I can fit into a tiny jar.

I received my stones in a plastic bag.😠The pretty pouch is missing! I ordered them because I wanted the pouch as well. I'm disappointed ☹️

Color is good. Received other items that were advertised as real / natural stone turned out to be glass. A little concerned about aquamarine and obsidian. I do know a little about glass and these may by. Maybe real. Without a certified independent gemologist report I won’t know. P

It’s a good amount citrine is hard to find and expensive. Unsure about the authenticity. Citrine does have a mixture of clear smoke white and yellow but my only issue is there is more glass than colored or smoky so idk it’s just hard to tell I’m veering away from amazon for stones I’m going wholesale I know they are authentic and high quality. You just can’t be sure they make them look so real these days using pigments

The gemstones/crystals I received were all authentic. I live in Sedona Az and took them to a gem dealer in town who verified authenticity. As a Reiki master, I use these regularly for chakra balancing/removing blocks/ cleansing. They are comfortable and I recommend using selenite shards mixed in to help enhance the stone's enenergy. When not in use, I use a quartz crystal to energize. I recommend sage smudge to cleanse between use.

I ordered one clear quartz and one black tourmaline.I received exactly what was shown, I also test the crystals and they seem to be authentic. Overall very happy and I think it will make a wonderful gift.
