Seiko Men's SRP493 Diver's Stainless Steel Blue Dial Watch by Seiko Watches

I purchased this this watch over some of the other models around $200 because I liked the idea of hand winding and hacking. It's a beautiful watch and very comfortable. The bracelet seems far better than other seiko models. The cyclops is centered perfect, I know there were other reviews stating theirs wasn't. There are a couple SMALL gripes I have but no watch is perfect. Biggest issue is its at least 45 seconds fast per day. One day was almost two minutes fast. I've purchased two other watches in the last couple weeks, both are within a second a day. My citizen sailhawk that I just purchased (not atomic) has only been off by one second in the past 3 weeks.

I own many divers watches from Rolex, Omega, all the way to Citizen, Seiko and Casio, along with many independent brands. This watch is really nice, it's not too big, the hands and markers glow all night long, fit and finish is great. My only 2 dings would be that it runs a little on the slow side, about 30 seconds per day, and the bezel ring rotates a little too easily. Also with the curve of the case, it is very comfortable.

The watch looks nice, it has all the desired features: new movement with hacking capabilities, day and date display, rotating bezel.The bracelet, although it has solid links, it doesn't look the part for this price range (I have cheaper Orient watches with better looking bracelets).The dial color is a very dark blue, almost black. The lume is very good.It is hard to get a better looking automatic diver watch unless jumping to a higher price bracket.

I did a lot of homework before buying this "seiko stargate II" watch and it is just what i was looking for. The watch is really nice in person. This is my first automatic watch and i love the style. Although the bracelet is really nice, I bought an orange 22mm nato strap for it.This was the look i was going for. The slight hint of orange with the minutes handle and crown makes it go perfect with an orange nato strap in the spring/summer time for a sporty look. I am also waiting for a black grey and orange striped nato strap which i think will go perfect. When i need to be more formal, i can just throw on the nice bracelet it came with.The seiko 4R36 movement offers hacking and winding, which is what i wanted for my first automatic dive watch. It has only been 12 hours, but the accuracy has been great. Although one cannot judge the accuracy of an automatic watch in 12 hours, it looks to be great so far. Just a few seconds off.edit. Amazon product Description states it is 100mm diver watch, but it is a 200mm diver watch.

In the cristal where this shows the date, the glass's increase is disaligned respect to the box that has date on the dial, is like a defective product.

An OK watch, not perfect by any stretch the imagination, but it works. I wish some of the numbers on the bezel were straight, rather than just kind of throwed on there

And it's 200M diver watch Water resistant depth is good for diving and snorkelling I will be snorkel lot with it, and I have not had a problem whit Seiko hardlex crystal very good

A very nice looking hefty diver watch that fits my 7.5 inch wrist well ,The watch curves over a lot at the lugs wrapping around the wrist and on me wears smaller than its 45mm more like 43mm figures would suggest.The face is a dark blue with a metallic effect in a certain light.The lume on hands and markers is very bright .The screw down crown is unsigned and feels a bit gritty compared to my Swiss watches keep thinking I may be cross threading it but no that's just the way these are .Other reviews have criticized the bracelet its a bit rattly but seems OK for the around £205 I payed .The watch has run accurately in the few days I have had it on a par with my Seiko Sumo .The only real problems have been taking links from the bracelet Seiko's pin & collar system ! (be careful not to loose the tiny little collars had to refer to youtube for help) and the main problem the lume dot pip triangle { Stargate chevron thing } is ever so slightly out of alignment on the bezel on mine not enough for me to return the watch ( but something you might want to check for yourself before you resize the bracelet ).I think this is a decent automatic ( 4r36 movement handwinds & hacks 200m WR with diver extention on bracelet ) divers watch only let down by quality control on the bezel ( a known alignment issue on some of these in fact some watch forum reviews advise locktighting this part down as it is screwed on ).I still like the watch but think if Seiko had went with a different bezel design (plain without the chevron) and it had a slightly better bracelet (same problem with the Seiko Sumo bracelet not up to the quality of the watch ) they would have a 5 star world beater of a watch as it is I hope you get one without the alignment problem best of luck.Came back to my review after a few weeks wear and took another star off because of the bezel pip alignment issue Seiko should be getting this sort of thing right on a + £200 watch ! Should have returned it.

Ich habe diese Uhr nun zum zweiten Mal bestellt, nachdem bei der ersten das Armband defekt war. Wie üblich war die Abwicklung bei Amazon absolut problemlos. Ich bekam mein Geld zurück und da ich eigentlich nur Umtauschen wollte, habe ich die Uhr dann eben noch einmal bestellt.Über die Ganggenauigkeit kann ich noch nichts sagen, weil ich sie erst seit heute trage. Der erste generelle Eindruck ist sehr positiv, was die Verarbeitung und den Tragekomfort angeht.Leider sind einige Angaben in der Anzeige von Amazon falsch:- Der Boden ist nicht aus Glas, sondern aus Edelstahl. Dies sieht man bereits in dem kleinen Video.- Das Glas ist nicht Saphirglas, sondern wie Seiko es nennt "Hardlexglas". Das ist wohl ein gehärtetes Mineralglas, das aber in den einschlägigen Uhrenforen für seine Widerstandsfähigkeit gegen Kratzer sehr gelobt wird.

Die Uhr macht alles klaglos mit, man kann die Uhrzeit klar und schnell ablesen und sie sieht auch noch gut aus dabei. Sie geht etwa 3-5 Sekunden vor am Tag, daß ist für eine Automatik Uhr aber ein recht guter Wert. Die Gangreserve ist ebenfalls ausreichend. Die Uhr trägt sich angenehm, obwohl sie recht schwer ist. Der Gehäuseboden besteht aus Edelstahl, Armband und Schließe sind recht massiv.Alles in allem kann ich die Uhr empfehlen, das einzige was mich etwas stört ist die Lupe über Tag/Datum, werde ich wahrscheinlich durch ein anderes Glas ersetzen.

Un buen reloj, con un acabado de calidad, y un aspecto imponente. Una muy buena relación calidad-precio. Compra absolutamente recomendable. Y la entrega, como siempre que lo sirve Amazon, irreprochable.
