Will it power a guitar pedal?

Caution: I read the answer above and so bought a couple of cables. I tested them on receipt to find they are centre-positive. All of my Marshall, Boss and most other pedals I own and Roland street cube and such are centre-negative... that is to say the positive terminal is the sleeve. I think one of my Zoom pedals, and my Arturia Keystep are centre-positive. So you should check your pedals/devices polarity before buying these. There are polarity reversal leads here on Amazon. And it's no "biggie" for me, I'm just going to chop the cables and reverse the polarity... but I guess that will invalidate any warranty. The voltage was 9.17v, which I rate as excellent for such a low cost product.

what is the output current rating

I don't know the maximum but the device I power draws 800 ma-1000 ma and I have had no problems.

Is the inside diameter of the 12v system dc jack 2.5mm or 2.1mm. Thank you.
