Oliva Olive Oil Soap 125g x 6 Packs

I love this soap and use as a poo stain remover on my 4 month old baby grows and vest and they have an explosion.

I've rated this soap 4* due to a particularly strong smell. I should add, although it has quite a distinct scent (olives) it does not leave the skin smelling the same which is good.Whilst the ingredients list are similar to Nablusi soap the finished product is quite different, which I can only attribute to the different sodium ingredients/processes to create the lye, and possibly the olive oil source/quality?I initially purchased as I have been having eczema flare ups for the past 18 months which I have never suffered with before (possibly a menopause issue). I was unable to use any soaps or shower gels without triggering an itch. GP recommended emollient shower cream for bath or shower which did help but I really missed having some lather and it didn't leave me with that just washed, clean feeling. This soap does that for me without triggering a flare up of itching and leaves my skin silky soft meaning less moisturiser.I'd recommend using a sponge or a scourer/shower puff to start creating a lather. Once you do that it lathers nicely, otherwise it will feel potentially slimy (less creamy than Nablusi). It's also great for shaving your legs with.I'd still recommend the soap since I did go on to purchase a 600g block elsewhere and have so far used it: on my skin (leaves a clean moisturised feeling), in my washing machine (grated with other ingredients), in my mop bucket (also grated with other ingredients), on my dishes with a pan scourer.Great all round soap which I would buy again as the price is much lower than Nablusi.

A dermatologist advised me to use as little soap as possible, due to allergies and atopic eczema. The soap I use is Oliva (checking it's basic ingredients, some forms appear to contain perfume - which I don't want). It's an excellent soap at a good price. No fancy smells or colours. Using it for several years I have, in that time, not had an allergic reaction to this product.

Love this soap, very natural and non-drying. Not a bad price for 6 packs
