Okay, these bulbs are pretty bright and are a nice warm white colour. That's one star for matching the description. They also lit up, so I guess two stars.Unfortunately, that's the good points.These lights have that really nasty "flicker effect" that plagued early LED lighting. It seems like a constant light, but as soon as anything moves, it creates a strobe effect. Add to that a faint high-pitched sound, and it's just going to be a headache.So, I can't return them, because they match the description and do what they're meant to do. Guess I'll go to Tesco like I should have done, and bought proper, modern LED bulbs.

Bought 2 bulbs on the 20th September. One was fine but when I went to change a bulb on the 20th November I found the second one was broken in the packaging- see photos.There’s no way of contacting the seller to get a refund or replacement which is very frustrating.The break looks like a manufacturing fault rather than a delivery or packaging issue.I would be wary of buying from this seller as there is no recourse when they send you a faulty item.

These two bulbs are to be used on anglepoise desktop lamps. However one of the bulbs was received with a loose base where in manufacture the glass bulb was not sealed to the Edison screw base allowing the glass bulb to be effectively broken away from the base if screwed normally into its holder - a quality control issue.

Terrible product literally fell apart when screwing them in, tried to return but Hermes never turned up

Obviously new. Cosy I would say rather than bright but it's for a bedside lamp so excellent. Not had long enough for longevity nor for energy efficiency but adequate for purpose.

Used in table lamp, shows good colour temperature with warm light and looks attractive. Bought two lamps to try but first lamp only lasted a couple of weeks at approx three hours per evening. Second lamp currently working after two weeks but I have doubts regarding longevity after the first lamp failed after such a short period of time.

Screwed this into the lamp and the base came away from the lamp. The second lamp in the twin pack was fine.
