High quality fast disconnects, works perfectly.
I only needed one per car, so my 2 pack was enough for both garage cars. I have a couple older garage queens that don't get out often, and like 30+ year old cars, they have a short here or there that drains the battery, so it dies after a week. But if I disconnect, it's fine. The OEM connects on most cars are TERRIBLE. Bent out of shape after years and years of changing batteries, small sized nuts and bolts that you can't even get a socket on. Step up to the AMPPER. I'm an idiot, and it took me 15 minutes to figure out that you clamp the insulated part of the wire and not just bare wire. I was flipping the bracket backwards, I tried stripping more wire, etc. Once I figured out that you clamp onto the insulated portion of wire, everything went in perfectly. I took a 15 second clip on my IG stories, and dozens of people hit me up to ask where I bought it, because this is just something everyone needs, but nobody knows it.

Awesome! And these fit perfectly if you know the trick. Read on!
I saw these and thought they would be perfect for my purposes. And I saw the reviews where folks said that they didn't fit, which I thought was puzzling. But since they came with a no-questions-asked money-back guarantee, I thought that I had nothing to lose, so I ordered some. When I went to try them, they wouldn't fit. They were way too small, and no matter what, I couldn't get them on the posts. So I looked at them more carefully and discovered what was going on. When you first open them up, the clamp will be at an angle to the rest of the assembly. This is why they appear to be too small. You need to flatten it relative to the rest of the brass body, and then the strap opens up to the correct size. Voila!See the photos to see what I am talking about Squirt some of your favorite spray lubricant at the joint and sliding surfaces, open the clamp up, flatten the assembly and you are good to go. The negative terminal will push right on. The positive one will be tight. On one exceptionally tight fit, I put the clamp on part way, pushed the cover down (this is HARD!), and then opened the clamp back up. The second time, it went right down on the post. These are terrific, and I will be ordering more. And now YOU know the trick!

They do not fit standard battery posts.
The negative clamp fits over the post, but it won't close without excessive force. The positive wouldn't fit over the post. There are no lock washers or anything to capture the nuts so they don't turn. If you're working in a tight area, you need to hold the cable in place, hold the clamp, use a screw driver and wrench at the same time.

Actually pretty nice.
After reading some of the reviews, and after having bought them and installed them, I can say that at least some of the negative reviews are from idiots. These absolutely fit standard American top post car batteries. They are, however, a bit of a handful to mess with. There's too many things going on to just pop them on and off. You have to hold them just right and sort of push down as you're tipping them over the top of the post. But they do look very nice. The covers, cover up the entire connection under nice color coded shrouds. But, that's also a problem if you ever need to jump start someone. The clasp/clamp is built into the shroud. You cannot just remove the shroud, it's integral. They look fantastic and leave a clean tidy appearance. I do like them.If you have a car where the battery is located under rear the seat, these would be ideal. Sure they're tricky to get on but, they completely cover the connections and would do a good job preventing a dead short. And how often do you go under your rear seat to access the battery anyway? That's the best fit for these, In my opinion.

Works great with no issues
I used only the ground one so far but it's pretty straight forward and protects my car battery terminal. I've no issues opening and closing it

So far so good
I installed them a few months ago. Very easy install and seem to grip the battery terminals pretty well. I do have 3 cables attached to the positive and 2 to the negative so for a good and need install I had to trim the plastic tops a bit. The look is very neat.
