I was looking for a fan to ease my life during heatwaves, and compliment my a/c for the air distribution. Ordered this fan based on reviews:Con:- Too loud in general- I did not see any noise difference between any of the fan speeds, they're all equally loudPro:- Looks durable- ok design, doesn't look disturbing in the room- sleep mode/hour setup is niceI ended up refunding it as it was too loud. Got another model from the same brand, noise level is significantly different.

We have several fans in our home, being that we live in WA state with no entral cooling, and this fan is not only the coolest air circulation we've bought, it's also the quietest. We have two Vornados, both smaller than this and yet more expensive, and they have nothing on this one. I honestly wish we'd bought a Lasko years ago and I will definitely be buying another one of these in the future.

Bought this item as a gift. The item was received in a timely manner, however it had obviously been previously opened and returned. The box has cut marks where someone partially removed a shipping label and the top of the box has been ripped open and badly re-taped. I cannot wrap this item up and give it to a loved one as-is.

I did not like the fact that a previous sticker was on my box. It had obviously had been returned from that previous person as it had been open taken out of the box the Styrofoam ripped and put back in the box. I decided to go ahead and take it out of the box and plug it in and turn it on and it did work. So I am happy with the fan but not happy that I had to get something that’s been ripped open.

This fan provides a lot of air movement while using limited space. It's a good white noise source (tho it developed a bit of a rattle after the first few days. I gave it a good whack and it stopped. The rattle never came back.). The remote control is a nice feature.

Works so well and is quiet enough to sleep whilst at highest settings even with a light sleeper. Definitely makes a difference in room temperature being more comfy at night.

My previous Lasko fans, I purchased 3, finally went down after 11years. The remote and operating functions are really every thing you want in a fan. I am a huge fan!

I was excited to be getting this. I rent a room where its 80 in here and it's very hard for me to sleep even with a stand up fan. It does blow cool air and it does seem to be much quieter then the stand up fan. And it was very easy to set up no tools needed, just snap in place So with that I love it. But was disappointed that it says it comes with a remote and it did not. That was one of the key features I was looking forward to.. I'm getting up there so hot flashes are here.
