Fleet Commander Nimitz -022

One of my favorite solo games. It takes place in the Pacific Theater during WWII with the player taking the role of Adm. Nimitz. You get the same resources he had in one of the 4 years (1942, 1943, 1944, or 1945) of the war you select. Very difficult and really gives you a sense of how difficult it must have been for Adm. Nimitz especially in 1942. After you play out the year you selected you get to see how you did or if you buy expansions you can actually play out the entire war. Excellent game for any war gamer with an interest in the Pacific Theater of WWII.

Another top notch DVG Wargame! I know there's some criticism due to the fact you can't play an overarching campaign from 42 to 45 (it's more like playing linked scenarios). I am A-OK! with this as it fits my time line. For me, this feels very thematic and the year scenarios play out much like an action movie (yes you will need to have a good imagination to play along) that doesn't get bogged down in the rules. Highly recommended.

Why is the 10 sided die listed in components not included in game? It does cost $90.00.

Wonderful make your own pacific war game. May be my favorite solo wargame of all time. If you are a wargamer and can't always find a human opponent, I can't recommend this game enough.
