I Gotcha JAWZ Compact Golf Ball Retriever

These work so well for retrieving your ball I’m able to extend it way out and get balls from the cactus and the lake extremely sturdy

This is my second ball retriever from the Igotcha company. This ball retriever replaces one that I lost recently. The previous ball retriever had too many moving parts and actually did come apart a couple of times. So when I searched for a replacement I went with the Jaws model instead and I am extremely happy.To begin with IGotcha probably makes the best ball retriever on the market. Their retrievers are made from high-quality materials and are expandable while allowing you to place one of these in your bag. They are very compact and they do just exactly as advertised. The Jaws model is very simplistic but it's simply works very well. The rubber grips in the jaw mechanism that are on the inside of the retrieving hoop fit over any golf ball and has just the right amount of friction and grip to pull your ball back out of the water or from inside bushes or other vegetation.This in my opinion, is the best model offered by the company because there are no moving parts to break. I guess I feel very fortunate that I lost my first model and I opted to replace it with this one because in my opinion, this is a far superior model than the previous one I purchased.

15' pole works great, sturdy, store handle down so water will leak out.

I've used this for just two rounds of golf and already come out almost 30 balls richer (including 5 Pro V1s :D). I don't think I'll be buying balls again for a looooong time.Pros for this retriever:- Very lightweight and compact. Don't even notice it in the bag- Easy to quickly deploy- Once a ball is secure in the teeth, the ball won't fall outCons:- This does not work very well on muddy lake/pond bottoms. If you try to push down on the ball, it just digs deeper in the mud. If you try to scoop underneath it, it just kicks up soot so you can't see the ball and it likely rolls away. If you are in an area with muddy water, get something that you can clinch around the ball- Doesn't always collapse. This could have just been when it was wet but on one hole the retriever would not collapse so I was walking around with a 10ft pole... I eventually got some of them to retract but it was quite frustrating.- Finally, when fully extended, it does not feel very sturdy and if you are a bit rough with it, I can definitely foresee it snapping. It has already almost paid for itself so I just need to remind myself that I don't have to retrieve EVERY ball I can see.

great ball grabber. i've had many over the years. works good through a fence or in the water. i like that it collapses very small. can fit in the pockets of your golf bag, so you don't have to compete with your clubs for space.

To see the differences in the three sizes select 14' Length. Only shows this info when you select 14' Length. Then scroll down to see the chart that shows the specs for all three.I bought the middle one with green teeth. It is only 2 ounces more than the shorter one with blue teeth. The one with yellow teeth is almost twice as heavy!The actual length when fully extended is 9.5'. No way I can reach a ball that is 14' away. But it is plenty long for my needs. Easy to completely extend and doesn't twist or come loose like the stupid thing I first bought where each section needs to be turned and locked before using. Then have it come loose while fishing for a ball.I am storing this in a side pocket on my golf bag. The pick up mechanism works great. It is slightly smaller in diameter than the ball. Just drop it over the ball and press down lightly. The ball stays in place when you remove it. You can actually press the ball through the ring. I've had at least four different gripper types on ball retrievers and this one works the best.

I have own several of these. All broke the same way. Shame on me for buying more than one. They fail to fully extend and when you pull hard to extend them they break. I have use WD40 to help to no avail. I am switching to another brand at half the price. They cannot fail more than these. This product could be engineered better but the company does not do it. Don’t waste your money.
