just what I wanted
Fairly small envelopes are the right size for an 8.5 x 11 copy paper folded in half. I use these for filing papers of appliances which I buy, etc., in my personal filing cabinet. Would be fine for mailing papers, too. The thickness is fine. I just compared them with the same size envelope which is the brand of a major office supply company. These are slightly thicker and therefore better. I also have some old envelopes this size which are way too flimsy. I am happy with these and will order them again when I run out.
