They arrived alive!
I ordered 10 red cherry shrimp and they were shipped to me in Hawaii. I took a risk, I was hoping at least some would survive, to my surprise they all lived! I received 1 extra- a total of 11 red cherry shrimp although the one extra! The color was a little brownish when they first arrived due to the stress of shipping but they brightened up once acclimated and I can confirm they are grade A and they are hardy and thriving! It’s been about a month since I got them and 2 are pregnant!!! I’m so happy!

Cute Shrimp
Updating my review to reflect the fact that I just ordered more of these shrimp and received a package with everything EXCEPT the shrimp in it. They want me to return the package, but by then I had already thrown everything away--I mean, why keep an empty box, and a bag with water and gel stuff in it? Coupled with the fact that I also ordered a different type of shrimp from them at the same time and received nothing at all, no package, nothing, and they sent me a copy/paste of the "your package was left on the front porch." Maybe it was left on someone's front porch but it wasn't left on mine. Apparently the only way to get a refund is to send the package back.... but I didn't RECEIVE the package, so how am I to send it back? So yeah based on these two experiences this past week I think I'll be ordering from someone else in the future. How incredibly annoying, and the whole copy/paste thing just made me angry; I'm not an idiot, I looked on both my porches, just like I always do. Why can't they just take my word for it that I didn't receive it, when I've been a good customer in the past? Grrr! These shrimp are cute as can be. Arrived all alive, apparently healthy, and lively, as well. I ordered them because we tend to get overgrowths of thread algae (I know, too much light,)inour two tanks, but the shrimp are so cute and such a pretty color that I'd adore them even if they weren't interested in the algae, but they are pigging out on it even as I type this.

Happy shrimp
All 12 arrived alive despite the Florida summer heat. They are a very nice deep red color, healthy and active. It looks like 2 males and the rest females. All the females look berried and there are bonus 1 cm long babies in the bag (likely born in transit). No parasites on visual inspection. Five of the babies made great snacks for my ember Tetras. The rest made it to cover though. I will edit my review if any problems arise.Edit: 3 days later one of them has died.Edit: 7 days after the first death 3 more have died. 10 days after first death 1 more has died. These guys are much darker and look harder than my old stock of shrimp in the tank. My water might not have enough calcium in it for these guys. The babies are growing up well though. They are big enough to emerge without being eaten. Another two of the females are no longer berried, so I expect to see more babies soon.

Questionable Breeder See details
I wanted to wait two months to post my review.I have owned shrimp for over 5 years now and never had an issue until recently. To begin with the shrimp arrived fast however one arrived dead on arrival 9/10. It was escaping from the inner bag.I acclimated the shrimp for about 7 hours due to the extreme difference in water temperature and water paremeters. I used a direct drip method from my tank to the smaller holding container where i set the shrimp during arrival.A second shrimp died a few hours during acclimation 8/10About 2 weeks later 2 more shrimp died 6/10. The noticeable thing about these 3 shrimp is that they had a parasite called Vorticella (this was noted as white fuzz around their heads). This means that the breeder probably did not keep the best water parameters, probably did not clean water, or vacuum the gravel properly. The tank where i had placed them had already been cycled for 2 years and there were other tank mates such as Amano shrimp and mystery snails. In those two years not once did i have a parasite not even planaria. Unfortunately these two shrimp did not survive long enough to be quarantined. I was able to quarantine the 3rd one and treated it with aquarium salt. However a few weeks later it died 5/10.This left 5 remaining shrimp 3 females and 2 males. The shrimp seem to be happy and they are berried and i can already see that there are baby shrimp in the tank. This means the water parameters I have are appropriate and they seem to be content.Keep in mind this is 50/50 batch and there were a lot of red flags since the moment the shrimp arrived. Its always a deep sorrow when these creatures pass away and i did my best to help them. I hope that this review serves as a sincere observation about purchasing from this vendor and that you can make an educated decision.I can safely say i will 100% NOT be buying shrimp from this vendor again.

Arrived alive and seems to be healthy!
I got all 10 cherry shrimp, and they are all alert and well. I barely placed them in their tanks, and they seem to be exploring and taking it well. 3 of them seem to be discolored with a bit of blue on their heads, but other than that, they’re great! I will be keeping a keen eye on them for the next few days to see how they acclimate to their new homes!
