It's A Dog's Life (Hank the Cowdog)

Have read these many times to students and now to elderly. Both age groups loved them as much as I.

I read these to my daughters from the schools library in the 1990’s and now I purchased them and starting reading them to my Grandson in kindergarten! I know my granddaughter and baby grandson will enjoy them in time also! We are Texans, so the accent comes naturally to us! I think the books are for children in 3rd grade or so.

This series is great for any age. The author has humor throughout the story.

My daughter really loves the Hank the cowdog series! These paperback books come in great new condition and are great for the early reader! We read these in 2nd and 3rd grade and has been read in her classroom. Great series! Highly recommend for your young reader

Hank is an engaging, adventuresome dog. I read these to my sons when they were young and now reading to my grandsons. Really fun books!

I bought three sets of the first three Hank the Cowdog books to take on a family vacation with lots of different ages staying together. We started reading the books outloud. Everyone laughed and we had some talks about Hank and how smart he feels really smart, but has a few problems. The kiddos were continuing to read on the trip home.

Hank is a great way to get young readers introduced to the entertainment factor of reading.The books are fun tales that can be read fairly quickly and leaving the reader looking forward to the next one. Thanks!

A great lighthearted, fun book. Designed for bedtime reading. Read the first couple chapters and then the kids were engaged enough to take over. We will be working our way through the whole series. Thumbs up!

This is one of the funniest "American farm dog" series of stories you will find. Easy to read for a young person, full of cheeky characters.
