Have worked out very well so far.
Had a problem with animals getting into the trash, so I had to find a way to stop the problem so I found these clips and some strong strap on Amazon and drilled a hole on both sides of my 64 gallon cans used a couple of 1/4 inch bolts and washers to secure them. Add the clips and they have held up to being dragged down the road 15 feet or so a few times but never have failed yet.

These do not fit boat covers.
I was hoping I could use these with an existing boat cover that I have but the design will not allow the snaps to go all the way into the buckles. Sent them back.

No instructions on how to secure it tightly...
There were no instructions as to how to get this to fit securely. I was replacing a broken one from a wheelchair cushion and I would not buy these again.

I picked these up to replace a buckle that had broken on a backpack. It was easy to swap them out and the buckle has held up really well.

Great buckles
I purchased them for use on my shop aprons. They are perfect for this application. The buckles are well made and sturdy. I would definitely purchase them again.
