This was my first time using flocking. I coated the interior of 4 bandsaw box drawers. Paint on the paint, then used the bottle to puff the flock on. Use generous amounts of both. Save the excess flocking that does not stick youbcan reuse it.

Having enough paint compared to flocking always run short on paint and always having flocking particles left .

I got this kit in Royal blue and have done a few keepsake boxes with it. The squeeze bottle works OK, but I can imagine a real flocking gun is better for dispersing the fibers. My thought is that for the occasional use of putting felt flocking into a box, this kit is pretty handy. Be sure to follow the instructions for prepping the surface to be flocked - if the adhesive doesn't wet the surface completely, you'll get inconsistent coverage of the fibers. I ended up using a coat of shellac followed by light sanding before putting the adhesive on with a small paint brush in order to put flocking on the inside of wooden boxes.

The instructions were clear and easy to follow. The end result met my hopes and exceeded my expectations. Follow the directions, especially about not skimping on the paint and the flock. Any flock that does not adhere can be saved and reused. Beautiful end result.

The glue (paint) is great and so is the flocking. The aplicater is worthless. Order the big two picce aplicater and it will do a great job. I have done 3 S/W pistol presentation boxes and they look like new again

Good product and did what I wanted. There is somewhat of a learning curve. I took a cardboard box and cut out one side to do the flocking in, just so it would not go everywhere and it allowed me to recover most of the excess.
