VIZIO M552i-B2 55-Inch Class Full-Array LED Smart TV

I love it, it is an awesome TV. Blu Ray animated movies take full advantage of the TV having a 240 Hettz refresh rate and Clear Action 720!! The Lion King movie looks truly Beautiful!! The TV's settings make it possible to change the picture, etc. to your most desirable viewing pleasure. The price was great at a $100 discount being $699 for this TV.UPDATE: It has been 9 years since I wrote this review and I am very happy to say my Vizio M series 55” TV is still working perfectly. I have not had any issues with it and picture is still awesome as it was on day one. I added an Amazon fire stick HD to make it a full smart tv. I Love it, thank you Vizio and Amazon.

I really couldn't be happier. It was very easy to set up with a helper to screw the stand in place. I connected the necessary wires and it was up and running in minutes. I used the factory calibration set up and the picture is perfect. I love it and think I got a wonderful deal after a great amount of researching other more expensive brands. My family room is pretty large and the TV is about 24' from the seating area. I think it's perfect but the room could have handled a 60" too. Still I'm very happy with my choice. This is my second Vizio TV. I bought my first one about 5 yrs ago. It was pretty good, but this one is great! Vizio has come a long way in my opinion.

I bought this TV a year back and it worked fine until I got a firmware update two days ago, which completely broke my tv. Every time I try to use any of the apps (Netflix etc) the TV shuts off and restarts. I called customer support and they said here is nothing they can do because I'm 1 month out of warrenty. Terrible customer support! I really regret buying a Vizio. This was my first and now my last time buying this brand. Should have stuck with a Samsung or another reputable brand.

The TV worked fine the first evening and the picture was decent, but then it downloaded an update the next morning and from there I had nothing but problems. Lost wireless three times that weekend, TV jammed up attempting to play a couple movies on Netflix, and then while watching a movie that evening it lost all resolution right in the middle of the film. Completely blurred out. The only way to get the picture back was to turn the TV completely off and then back on again and then start playing the movie again. From that point I decided to just return it. Any piece of electronics that has so many issues is not worth keeping. Bought Samsung 4K Ultra instead, for about twice the price. Definitely worth it in the end.

Out of the box the TV worked great the first 2 weeks. after using the sound bar the TV speakers went out and had to call Vizio for repair. The main board went out and was replaced with no out of pocket expense. Researched this problem and found many audio issues for this model. We will see how the new main board holds up. FYI once you have recieved a repair you will be called to extend your warranty. For $100.00

Item arrived on time and in excellent condition. Works great and the picture is crystal clear.

We love the TV. The smart apps r great. Every once in a while the volume messes up when you r playing back a recording, and you have to turn TV off. I can't get the keyboard on the back of remote while searching YouTube.
