Jiffy Pop Butter-Flavored Popcorn, 4.5-Ounce Units (Pack of 24)

I have been using this for many years whenever camping with kids. Prior to ordering here, I will go on the manufacture web site and look for stores near us and clean out the shelves. Popping pop corn while sitting by the fire is one of the highlights of our camping and overnight outdoor trips. Seeing the joy on my kids face while eating freshly popped pop corn is the best. They love the fact that they can see the foil rising while the aroma of freshly pop pop corn in the air. Most of the time, our neighbors (campers) will ask what it is that we are doing or where we get them from. I usually take 4 per day( 1 for each kid plus 1 extra) x how ever many days that I am camping.

Not every brick and mortar store carries these, and I like having stock on hand for immediate use. Hence, an Amazon order for 24 ready to use popcorn pans, perfect for campfires or out at the fire pit. These probably haven't changed in design in decades, because they don't need to. A metal tin holds popcorn and a popping lubricant/flavoring. (Yeah, that part evolved, I'm sure.) Remove the cardboard from the top, place over gentle heat, shake it gently, and you'll be rewarded with popcorn. Gourmet, best ever? Nah, but it's enough to add a salty counterpart to the s'mores that are also cooking for a balanced camping meal.

We purchased this to have at our fire pit with the grand kids. We tried it the night before to see how it was. At first we were disappointed as it seemed chewy. But after less than 5 minutes with foil opened it was perfect. The chewy must have come from the moisture since we tried it immediately after opening it when done cooking. Very good. Like old times. Can't wait to have with the grand kids.

Brought back great memories and made new memories with our 9 yr old. Even my 95 yr old Grandma stayed outside to pop popcorn on the fire and tell us about her memories. I wasn't expecting the flavor to be that good but to my surprise the popcorn had the perfect blend of salt and butter flavor. The handle could be longer as it does get hot so we used old pot holders to keep our hands safe. Also be super careful when pulling the top cardboard tab off. I accidentally poked a hole in the foil on the first one.

This quantity is a good value for the money. This is good tasting low sugar treat, with just the right amount of butter.. We have some type of movie once or twice a month. We often have 3 or 4 grandkids over to watch the movie. When this happens we will make two or more batches. We noticed with the last of them, it took longer to pop and had a few more kernels not poped. We checked the date and found them to be expired. We hadn't used the the last 5 batches of Jiffy Pop.

Jiffy Pop, Jiffy Pop, the magic treat. As much fun to make as it is to eat! The old advertising jingle is still true. I couldn't find this product in the supermarket, so I was thrilled to find it online. The package arrived intact and timely. Jiffy Pop blows away microwave popcorn - it's fresh, hot, and there are almost no wasted unpopped kernels. While the interactive experience will enthrall young ones, my husband is 62 and grins like a little kid while he makes his snack, every time.

I wanted to buy these for the kids to use at our camp weekender and so was looking for a large amount. This was a great price and the popcorn tasted fine. We didnt have any issues as mentioned in some of the other reviews. Went over well. If you are hosting a camp out with kids it is a great activity. Just make sure they shake it and take the paper off (it helps if you have had staff that used these before LOL)

This is the worst popcorn I have ever had. Admittedly I have an electric range, but in fairness nothing here says you should use a gas range. Either it burns, or half doesn't pop, or BOTH! Plus it tastes horrible--stale, dry, blech!! Unfortunately there are NO RETURNS for this product. That's a mistake I'll try to avoid in the future. $50 down the tube. Also, the expiration date is only a couple of months away from the receipt date. That's not acceptable either. I'm surprised it tastes so stale BEFORE the expiration date, but maybe it was subjected to improper storage before shipment. Who knows? All I know is it is awful. P.S. Just read the label on this stuff, and it is loaded with fat. SEVEN GRAMS including THREE GRAMS OF TRANS FAT!!! I thought popcorn was supposed to be a healthy snack. Not THIS stuff. AVOID!!!!!!! or if you must try it just buy ONE. Never in a million years did I think something I bought from AMAZON was non-returnable. I love Amazon overall, but Very disappointed with this purchase. ----------------------------- UPDATE: I contacted the manufacturer and they were only too happy to refund my entire purchase price. I still wouldn't buy this partcular product, but I have to congratulate them on their wonderful customer service.
