Is this considered a "tear-free" or "no more tears" type shampoo?

Just so you know, "tear-free" is literally a numbing agent added to the chemical filled and often harsh shampoo. For instance, if your haircolor came out too dark every colorist and color company will say to use Johnson's Baby shampoo to strip it because it is literally one of the harshest shampoos you can use. No tears doesn't mean safe.

I don't think so, we use it regularly as a preventative measure.

I haven't used it on an actual "out break!" But I use it on my daughter every night for bath is all.
