This case in my experience was waterproof and drop proof, and while those are two features I would certainly prefer to have in a smartphone, the trade off with the rest of this case just wasn't there.The construction seemed very poor. The flip cover for the dot view didn't close completely flush and would require a push to tuck it in properly. When you did this however, it would become very difficult to open short of flexing the case to encourage it to pop out - not really a game I'd like to play with a $600 smartphone inside. The kickstand faced a similar problem in not laying flat in it's spot, except instead of being difficult to pull out, it was instead very eager to pop out on its own - frustrating to me because it isn't a feature I really ever need.The charge port and headphone access port were both very difficult to get to, often requiring a separate tool to pry them open. The power button was extremely difficult to depress. While this isn't really an issue with this phone when you can either use dotview or double tap the screen, I'd still prefer to have access to all of it's functionality - especially if I need to restart the phone or turn it off for any reason. The volume rockers were more manageable. I had a difficult time using the touch screen with the screen cover - the edges were difficult to use and the screen felt flimsy.All in all, I returned it and am using an HTC dotview that is falling to pieces. I'm not sure how long the build construction of this case would hold up, but I don't suspect it would be that long.

Not bad for the price, bought it early in the year but only recently have I been able to use it. It is summer time now and I have taken it under the pool, once in a while I get water inside but not significant enough to cause damage. Only problem I have is the plug that covers the usb charging port has fallen out, I recovered it and place it back but it falls very frequently I have to constantly keep an eye on it when I charge my phone. No problem with the audio Jack port plug. I guess for the price it's a fair purchase but I don't use it as often as I'd like because I'm afraid I'll get water damage to my phone. Drop impact is good and keeps dust out for the most part. I'd also like to mention that I am very thorough when I apply the case to my phone, I follow directions according to instructions provided so the water leaking in is not due to an error on my part.

Passed the leak check test. Touch screen works good, even with thick glass screen protector still installed.Volume and power buttons work great. Dot View works good too. Though there is a little light bleeding across the screen, but it's more than acceptable.Only issue has been Notifications. I can't bring down the notifications, nor the quick settings (WiFi, screen brightness, etc.)But since there are no other options for the M8, and the fact I only use this when I go to the beach or Kayaking, that limitation is something I can live with. I would give it a 2 or 3 stars if I had to use it everyday.

A Very durable and sturdy case however hard to remove (almost broke mine). The earphone jack is tough to screw in to the phone and won't go in all the way. It also covers the bottom speaker and people can't year you when you talk. I recommend the a spigen case it's not waterproof but it's a great case. If you are a construction worker or very clumsy then it's perfect for the occasion.

This case is great, it is waterproof and protects your phone really well and it has the dot view door which makes it stylish. Everything this case is suppose to do it does as described in the description.There is only one small con about the case. When at high volumes it muffles the speakers a bit. I'm sure it probably has that issue because of the waterproof aspect of the case.Other then that its a great case Highly recommended!

Was look for a waterproof everything case. This works perfectly to that. Had no problems with it. It is a big bulky which is expected for such case. Wish it didnt have the cover kind of became annoying after a day or two and ended taking it off. If your looking for a waterproof M8 case this is for you. the protective screen is also close to the original screen so that does not affect your typing or touch interface.

The small black peices used to close off the charger and headphone parts kept getting lost and falling out of place and now the case is no longer waterproof, also the dot view part of the case fell off. The case still protects the phone from drops but other then that it is not an excellent case in my opinion, I have only had this case for a month and I am not sure how long it will last baised on my experience with it. Overall I feel this case had good potential but was made poorly and could have been better.

If the case is meant to always and only be used when waterproof is necessary, the case is fine. However, I was under the impression it would be a protective case under normal circumstances/everyday use. The case covers the microphone, making it impossible for my callers to hear me! I guess I'll just have to communicate by txting alone.
