Had to buy it
I checked out "The Passage" from the local library, but I don't read as often as I'd like so I end up taking forever to finish a book. I got about halfway through before it was due and someone else had it on hold so I could not renew it. Saw this set here and, for me, it was an obvious choice to buy the whole set.I have not read the second two books, but "The Passage" is a great read. Part sci-fi and part suspense/thriller. Keeps you guessing and interested chapter after chapter. Highly recommend!

Great service.
It came very quickly and it was a Christmas present to replace a loaned out set that my daughter wanted to re-read.

One of the Best things I've ever read - and I read alot!
This trilogy, it's really one grand story, is outstanding in terms of it's vision, story line, and character development. The idea of an Amy, who grows up to become the savior and energizer of the world is amazing. I can't recommend this series (book) high enough. It ranks up there with DeMille's "The Charm School" for me.

A Bestseller? How?
I struggled to get through the first book but I pushed my way to the depressing end of the trilogy since I bought it. I can’t figure out why Amy was so special and what she did that was so special. Nearly everyone seemed special which negated her perceived specialness. And despite all the specialness everyone died. There were too many characters, each with a backstory we had to keep track of, and I had to go back many times to refresh my memory. The vocabulary pulled me out of the story quite a bit. All of the main characters sounded like a professor with a thesaurus on hand, not young people who lived in an orphanage until they were 8 and then spent their time trying to survive. Then there were the analogies! The fight scenes were well written, though often anticlimactic. There was no explanation of too many things, too much detail about most things. Throughout the reading I often felt irritated. Here at the end, I feel only sadness. Someone should have had a happy ending.

Exceptional Trilogy!!
I have previously read this extremely exciting book series. I just bought it for my 19 year old son. Once you start reading, you don't want to put the books down!

Over 2000 pages of a great story
Great story. Devoured it. Similar to "The Stand" with some of "Swans Song" thrown in. Great writing. Enjoyed every bit of it.

An excellent trilogy of books. Enjoyed them all.
I had already read the first book "The Passage" and enjoyed it so much I decided to go for the two sequels. Luckily the deal for all three books was extremely good value, so I purchased the set and read the other two. The story starts in the present and then carries on in a later timeline. Very exciting and compulsive reading with several twists and turns. Thoroughly recommend this Trilogy.

Nice concept but incredibly tedious to read
I got to part way through the 3rd book before I finally gave up on this. I've no idea how I persevered through it that far.I really enjoyed the concept which I was hoping would justify the level of tedium that the books seem to thrive on. All too often I thought of giving in whilst new characters were introduced then offered very little purpose in the story. If anyone can clearly explain what the 'passage' actually is in the first book, i'd be amazed.Difficult to recommend.

Love it!
I must say I was excited when I saw how huge these books are! I guess it's not for everyone...Yes, the characters change and you'll get a lot of history and present/future changes. Just keep an eye on the year when new chapters starts, it'll help.Even after 2000 pages I feel like this story could go on for longer. It would be interesting to know how they got to where they were at the end! Sorry, trying not to spoil anything!

Vampires suck
Vampires suck but these books don't !! A very good read for those winter evenings/weekends. Pay no attention to the "super fast ultra delivery" claim - it isn't !!

Paper tour easily and not very secure in the spine. But good read.
