Lots of reviews commented that this tank ran big, one person mentioning that he was swimming in a small at 5'10 185lbs. I own a few other stringers from boutique brand clothing lines and have experienced that most stringer tanks are a little oversized. IMO, it's how they're supposed to fit, loose and flowy, not skin tight.I'm 5'8 168lbs currently, and with most articles of clothing I'm somewhere right between a medium and a large (medium usually being skin tight, large being a little more roomy but at the cost of disappearing my waist). I ordered a Medium expecting it to be a little bigger because of the reviews (no fault of physique bodyware). The first thing I noticed was the quality of the material. 5 stars for that. It's extremely soft and light, with the perfect amount of stretch, and just what I want in the gym, or during the summer. Threw it on and went to the mirror. It's a little snug. I would say it fits true to size or possibly a tiny bit smaller. I'll not be putting this in the dryer. I checked on amazon to see if free returns were offered for this item but they're not, so I'll be keeping the Medium, but will probably order a Large in the future.The cut of the stringer is fairly modest compared to other brands that I own. The chest scoop is rather high, along with the armholes. Again this was something that initially turned me off. After wearing it to the gym though I realized that because this stringer is a modest one, I wouldn't feel like an extreme douchebag if I wore it to the beach, or out in public after a workout.The price is a little high, I feel like $15 flat with free shipping would be the magic price point, but hey, it is made in America, and everyone has to make their money so I'll support them. The stringer fits as it should for the size I ordered XL. The drop doesn't come down too far like some do so very little possibility for 'nipple slippage'. Around the waist, product is not tight around the body and not to much to where you can swim in it. The length is very appropriate which one reason why I got it. The material is somewhat thin but shouldn't matter since it is supposed to be athletic material. Quality is superb.-> If you are in shape, know what a stringer is by the picture, and actually know your size this is a great product. I will definitely be buying more. Keep in mind that chest size of the shirt doesn't matter on a tank like this. Only the waist. If you have a big chest, wide lats, and a tight waist, a medium should fit fine. The fabric used is a lightweight but soft cotton that clings but just enough, especially important during bulking season when you want to hide some body fat.
