Makes The Best Ube Lattes
This McCormick ube extract makes the best ube lattes. The flavor, color, and the aroma are perfect and a little goes a long way. It’s great for baking an Ube cheesecake as well as making cookies.

Awesome but beware of staining!
This extract smells and tastes great, and just as I expected, will stain absolutely everything it touches. Mine arrived with one of the tops a tiny bit loose despite being well packaged, so there was a tiny leak, but I haven't removed any stars because of that as it seemed completely accidental and both bottles were individually wrapped with plastic on the top so the leak did not spread beyond the label of the one bottle. The color of the extract is gorgeous, SUPER purple! So far, I have only used it in pancakes just to test out how much to use to get a rich purple color, and a few drops is all it took. I am very happy with the quality of the extract so far and will be making ube cookies with it soon!

Nice color and good value. Bakes well in pancakes. Good taste and smell. You just need a little bit. It goes a long way.

Good taste, coloring issue
Great flavor, but definitely stains. Wouldn’t recommend using plastic with it. Use glass. If spilled, clean quickly.

Damaged Bottle
This product arrived damaged. The bottle was leaking and made a huge mess. The return policy does not allow for any returns or replacements. Would not recommend.

Delicious
Ube has a nutty flavor and when you add a bit of vanilla simply syrup it does taste like an oreo. I prefer ube in the extract versus the powder because I can't get them smooth enough for my ube latte's

Used for a chiffon cake - amazing flavour as well as a beautiful purple colour.

I have been disappointed with taro bubble tea powders for making bubble tea at home. I now use a little of the ube flavouring and some milk in addition to the powder and it comes pretty close to shop bought taro tea. I am also going to try it for baking as I really like the flavour and the colour is beautiful.
