Can't beat this for the price
In the MS world of crappy Windows compatibility, finding a web cam (and sometimes just any USB device) that works well is like hunting for treasure. Older web cams I had during prior iterations of Windows had failed me on Win10 x64, so after going without for the past several years, I finally had to break down since moving from my desktop to my laptop (with a built-in camera) was becoming a pain. Why there are so many variations of meaningless features on web cams is a mystery to me (hint - Logitech only needs about another 100 useless choices on their crazy lineup). I stumbled across this camera and from the surface, it seemed a little too good to be true for the price, especially comparing to some name brands that I've owned in the past. This was definitely worth the try out. Installation was all of about 30 seconds and everything just worked in Win10 x64 (i'm patched with the latest/greatest/breaking changes in Windows), so that was a pleasant surprise. I needed primarily for MS Teams and I've had no problems with the camera or mic. I've quizzed several people on calls and they've all said everything looked and sounded good on their end.I don't always keep lighting up in my office and the only downside I've noticed on the camera is that it has some problems with dimly lit rooms. Soon as I turn the lights back up or have something white on my screen shining on my face, the camera looks as expected. Long as you're in a sufficiently lit area, I don't think you'll have any problems with that side. Video quality of the camera has been excellent - no stutter or anything - very similar to using my phone for video.Very happy with the purchase and even happier with the price considering alternatives on the market.

I use for my staff zoom meetings and it is great
It was very easy plug and play and I had a new Dell Desktop and a gaming monitor. The monitor did not have any camera and this was a perfect fit. There is also a little cover that can go over the lens to prevent any spying. Very happy with the quality and very clear.

It's good and cheap
So far so good the picture is clear and it does exactly what it is supposed to do. The only thing is the microphone has issues I can't seem to fix.Update; I had it a few days now the camera is still pretty good but the little 3 leg desk stand thing it comes with has broke. 1 of the legs just fell off.

Great Picture Quality!
I have a Mac Mini connected to an external monitor without a built-in web cam, so I bought this product to be able to make Zoom calls, etc. The picture quality is excellent (actually, a little too good as it captures all of my wrinkles!). So, I'm pleased with the video capturing. The audio capturing with the built-in microphone is not so great. It's ok for what I need to do, but it does record my voice with a bit of muffling. If I really wanted high quality audio, I would need to use a much better external microphone. This product definitely was plug-in-play with my Mac Mini, where I simply plugged it into a spare USB-A port. Very easy to use.

Goes down often
Camera works good, when it works. Camera often shuts down if used for more than 10 minutes. Sucks when most of my virtual meetings are at least 20-30 minutes. I always have to completely unplug and plug it back in. Frustrating and irritating.

Great product for a low budget, high-quality camera.
First of all, I have to stress the fact that I bought this camera on a lightning flash sale from Amazon for $20.00 plus tax. It came to about $22.00. The shipping of this item took about a day and a half which was really fast. The package was pretty much just a cardboard box.I have taken two images to add here. One to show the contents of the package upon arrival and the other to show what the camera looks like mounted on my screen.I have also recorded a short video just so that you can see the quality of the camera. I personally think that for $20.00 this camera was a steal. As soon as I got it I removed it from the package and plugged it into my Windows 10 Pro Desktop PC. Windows immediately recognized and installed the proper drivers for it without any assistance from me.I then started up an app that would allow me to check to see if the camera was indeed working properly.Upon starting the app, I immediately saw myself in the video and knew that it was working and that I was impressed with the quality of the output of the camera.I then tried to record a video and found that the microphone was not working for some reason. I double-checked the instructions to make sure that it had a microphone built-in. It does.I then started checking system settings and found out that Windows automatically muted the microphone on the camera upon installation. I did not know that Windows did that.Make sure that after you perform the install, you check to make sure that you have a working microphone. If it does not work, just check the system and unmute the mic.Other than that, I had zero issues with this camera.I would recommend this to anyone looking for a low budget, high-quality camera. I think you will be quite pleased with the overall quality of this camera.

Good, inexpensive camera for linux
Bought primarily because I wanted something inexpensive that would also work with both Linux and Windows. I very happy with the picture quality. The built-in mic sounds a little hollow, but it's good enough for me. the optional privacy cover is a nice feature: attached preinstalled adhesive if you want it, or just leave it off if you don't.

Good value for money!
Grabbed this early on in the COVID Chaos for Zoom TaeKwonDo classes. Easy install (plug and go), decent lens and wide field of view without too much distortion at the edges. Good sensitivity to light. Manages to keep movement blur to a minimum, especially for a USB 2.0 camera.Camera tilts and mounts to almost anything, has a privacy flap, but does NOT swivel; I found that annoying.Built-in mic is tinny in front and muddy at the sides. Most laptop mics are better. For the price, it's a keeper!
