Solid set of everyday screwdrivers
What can I say that hasn't been said at this point? These drivers feel solid your hand. I used the smaller phillips last week to take apart an old laptop. Anyone who has dealt with the small screws in electronics knows how easy it is to round off the heads on cheap, tiny hardware. These drivers worked marvelously, gripped the first time, even without the proper sized driver for the screw and even provided a weak, but workable magnetic effect. The plastic is grippy without being rough, the handle geometry fits perfect and the control is top notch. The shafts are solid in all the right ways, while the tool steel tips have held up well so far. I cannot recommend these more to anyone looking for a great household set of drivers in common sizes. This will be the best $17 you ever spend on tools.

Why buy THIS Wera 1734/6 screwdriver set?
I am on a quest to replace the tools in my tool box that do not give me a tingle to use. I like tools, especially the ones that look and feel like it was sculpted just for me. After sniffing around the internet for way too long, I mean, screw drivers, really, two hours of looking. Anyway...I bought this set and have fondled it for about,,,, never mind. Here is what I think. First off, made in the the eastern european country of the Czech Republic. The handles are hard plastic material with a matte, powder coat like finish, not rough but a nice textured matte finish and look. You can see the mold lines but not distracting but not a piece of art either (No 5th star). The shape is the most comforatable screwdrive I have every held, it fits in the palm of your hand and slips in between each finger that feels juuuust right. When you set it on a surface, it will not roll away, at least not too far. As for the working end, it has a black tip like many manufacturers do to make you think that the tip is some kind of exotic metal that could withstand re-entry from space...but it will scratch right off. Functionally, the tip is well machined and the shaft is a matte finished that looks real nice. As for durability, I only can trust that Wera did their homework used materials that will stand the test of time, as they fully realize, the no-name screwdriver vendors just about give their screwdrivers away at the big box stores. Final Comment: All in all, not a piece of art but a very nice, utilitarian screw driver that I will enjoy holding and using. Highly recommend for function and feel. Meets my needs and I do get a tingle when I hold it!

Real nice set to outfit my workbench with
High quality drivers at a good price, worth every penny. Handles look a little odd but they work great, very comfortable to hold and use when you need to. They will last a long time, no doubt.

Great Screwdriver set.
These are way better than craftsman thats for sure. Bought them for my dad, since he is a automotive mechanic. Great grip, very durable, great price as well. The only thing is they are black and can be easily misplaced if working in dark conditions with very little light. This is the second time buying them.

Best set of screwdrivers for under $20
Working in the Marine Industry really puts a strain on tools (salt water + tools = lots of rust), that's why I don't like to go cheap on my tools. We have Wera precision screwdrivers at work so I pulled the trigger on these, boy was I happy I did. These bad boys have held up for two years now with no issues. The only problem is trying to keep my coworkers from taking them.

Not bad
This is not a bad set. It would be much better if it came with a case to keep them all in. Overall, not bad for the price.

Similar to Freight from the Harbor, and even smaller and chincier than you expect.

Great for the money
This set is a bargain. Comfortable, well made and well designed. I have recently switched to Wera screwdrivers from Klein. The tips on the Wera hold up very well and the grips are extremely ergonomic albeit odd looking.
