I've now waterproofed 3 pair of shoes with this spray and it works great. None of them have made my feet wet thus far...and I live in Upstate NY where we get a lot of snow, slush, ice and rain. Nice size can for the price. I still have plenty left for another pair or two.

We couldn't survive winter snow or spring rain without this spray. Our family: big fans!

I cant fully rate this product because so far I've only sprayed it once. I've never used these sprays before but I got new shoes that were so nice I didnt want to ware them out. Its winter now in LA and we had heavy rain this week. I used this on my backpack and shoes. So far so good!! Put one coat on will see how it is?? I'm debating spilling a coke bottle on it!!I also take the metro in LA so this can help since it dirty I hope!!We had a downpour of winter rain this week earlier it rained a whole day heavy rain in la. The bag was soaked but all paper and most things inside stayed dry so I feel this was good!!

A few people have asked whether this spray works on non leather shoes. It appears that it does. I sprayed the shoes in the photos twice (waiting an hour between coats) and then let them dry for an hour. The spray left no visible residue, shine or stiffness. If you look closely at the photos, you can see that I then splashed them with water and the water beaded on the shoes rather than soaking in. I will update this review if I have any issues wearing the shoes next time it rains.

I purchased this to protect a nice pair of suede Chelsea boots, and this stuff works really well. I live in Denver, so I get the occasional snow melt and wet days out of nowhere. I feel perfectly comfortable wearing my boots now in poor conditions, as water just beads off of my boots!Absolutely necessary for shoe protection - especially suede.

I have several pairs of running shoes that are so comfy but if you walk thru wet grass I would end up with the water soaking right thru leaving my socks and feet wet. I sprayed one pair as a test and found the water just beaded right off. No wet socks or feet! Also sprayed several pairs of leather boots hoping that it will help protect them from our winter weather. Very impressed with this product.
