I have an older (1830s) house and I wanted to add a little splash to the scene when someone drives up for the first time. This window has a classic style that is perfect for my situation. The box is thoughtfully designed, such that the planter is embedded in a large water reservoir, to save the hassle of watering frequently. The brackets are cleverly designed so the box snaps in place easily.It is lightweight so I could lift it into place from a step ladder.I haven't filled it yet, and I don't know about durability, but I am very happy with this purchase. So happy I just bought some more.

Dresses up your window very nicely. Sturdy. I paid full price so wait for it to go on sale! I've seen it $20 off. I see it will probably last forever. High quality.

We are not using it as a window planter, but on the floor of the porch. It was the perfect size for what we needed, and the shape as well. Only issue was having to drill the hole for self watering, but can’t even complain there as drilling yourself gives you the flexibility of putting the hole in a confident location. Just need to make sure you’ve got the right size drill bit for the plug supplied.

These have worked very well so far. The self watering feature is great and has worked very well so far. We live near Phoenix so we have already had some pretty hot weather to contend with, but the soil has remained damp and cool through it all. The overflow hole is a good feature so you know you can never overfill the planter.The main complain I have is that the fasteners included are far too lightweight for the weight that the planters will be holding. A couple of gallons of water and a pretty fair amount of soil could tip the scales at thirty pounds or more, I would guess. If you are going to mount it on a cement or cinder block wall get expansion sleeves, probably 1/4 inch, designed for concrete. For mounting on wood get much larger sleeves and screws as well. You may have to enlarge the mounting holes on the brackets.I also bought the decorative covers for the brackets to improve the overall appearance.The boxes themselves look great.

I LOVE my new window boxes, they really are beautiful and change the whole appeal of the front of my house. Thank you for the lightweight design which makes it easier for me to lift them off the corbel and plant the plants. They really look like wood even though they are resin and I just LOVE, LOVE, LOVE them!

I used 2 of these as planters because they were the size I needed, not mounted for window boxes. Excellent quality and classy look. I have other Mayne products, so these were the obvious choice when I needed more. I can vouch that Mayne Canada Customer Service is top-notch, professional and prompt, the best service I have received from a company in decades!! Would give Mayne Products and Service 10 stars if I could!!!!

Including the mounting brackets makes installation straight forward. Good looking, sizeable window box. Worth the price.

Nice quality and wellMade but too big for our property

This is a beautiful, sturdy and well-constructed window box. It is nice and deep so lots of soil can be used to help the plants flourish and the material it’s made of prevents evaporation. This eliminates the need for daily watering even in the hottest weeks of summer.
