I Bought this kit as a present for one of my sons who loves military history, and torpedo boats especially. The kit was greatly anticipated but it was shipped only in its packaging. The slapped a shipping label on it and sent it. The box arrived damaged for its travel. The only good thing is that there was no damage to the plastic of soft metal components. This was the most damaged package I have ever received from an order. This is why I marked it down. The kit itself is building into a nice model.

Although a highly detailed kit, there were pieces that did not fit or there were no places to attach the part. As in the rear mine chutes, there were no holes as in the instructions. The handrails were not lined up with the receiving holes no matter which way you turned them. The rear gun only had one side on the sprue, instead of a left and right. I would not buy this kit again. Most likely headed for the shelf unfinished.

Ease of construction and attention to detail. Pricing reflects the quality and sophistication of this model. Quite large for this scale.
