This mirror is a very nice size and is very clear. It is made well and not to heavy.

The 10X side is way too strong for what I need… I will probably get a 5X

I put my mirror in my window and it fits perfectly on the sill. It's lightweight so it would be easy to travel with. Love it!

I wanted a good magnification mirror, at least 10X ~ and did not want to spend a small fortune on one. Locally, these have been nearly impossible to find with anything even half acceptable going for $40-$50 and up.I have had others with plastic holders, the most recent one with a small plastic base and light (the light which was useless and which we never used) by Floxite that had a maddening concave shape, was also top heavy and finally bit the dust (and I had paid $30 for that one!). So I had also hoped to find one which was hands-free and yet one which I did not have to hook to the wall ~ or use suction cups on my regular mirror. I had fully expected to pay $50 or more for any type of decent one!This mirror is fantastic and especially for the price. I read all the reviews here and it is indeed a Five-Star purchase. It's base is heavy enough that there is no fear of toppling, it does not need "installed" or "suction cupped" anywhere. Portability is a plus as I like regular sunlight to see what I am doing. And yes, despite the size, you can easily see your entire face in it. When you adjust it, it stays where you put it and does not slip at all.There is no distortion in the mirror at all, something I have found you really have to watch in mirrors which are less expensive. The base has a non-scratch surface so it can be placed anywhere without fear of damage.And it is eligible for Free SuperSaver Shipping, which makes a great deal an even better one! Amazon had it here on the day they fisrt estimated it would ship. It also comes in a nice box, great for transporting and which I saved as we will be moving in the next month or so ~ and I will not have to worry about it being broken. You can purchase a more expensive mirror, but in the 10X maginification, you cannot get a better quality mirror in this size. I am considering purchasing a second one as well.

I bought this mirror in January of 2017. It worked out very well for me up until about six months ago ... it started getting progressively more wobbly and leaking sand from the base until just about an hour ago when upon lifting it the whole base just collapsed and the concrete fell out.It is only fair to mention that I have taken this mirror everywhere with me since I bought it (I have PCOS ... if you know, you know). It has survived cross-country moves, plane trips packed away in a check in, weekend trips packed in an overnight bag ... additionally, I have a two-year-old that thinks it’s a fun toy to play with. I really tested this thing and I’m satisfied with how it performed. I will put in an order for another one after I post this review.

Bought the first one and liked it so well, that I bought another a week or so later for the second bath vanity. Two years or so later, I bought a larger home with another master bath in it, so I bought a third mirror--also in Nickel--just like the other two, and it's also perfect. I was so glad to see these were STILL available. All three of mine, bought separately at different times, were well packaged with Prime shipping, brand new, nothing broken, nothing wrong with any of the three. They're not too heavy, not too light; not too large and not too small; the clarity in the image on both sides is perfect--no distortions. The price had gone up slightly on the third one I just bought (March 2021), but it's still a good purchase. Very pleased. I don't understand the complaints on the other reviews unless the chrome or dark bronze are inherently of lesser quality.

Very nice and pretty heavy.

This is a great mirror. A little weight because it is sturdy and very well made. It is NOT to heavy to hold in your hand when applying make-up or for traveling with. I own 2 as I was afraid of leaving one behind in my travels.

Me gustó la calidad y la altura que tiene, está perfecto para apoyarlo en cualquier mesa y poderse maquillar sin batallar acomodándolo a cada rato. Otros espejos están pegados a la base y quedan demasiado bajos pero este tiene la altura perfecta!

Queria comprar el espejo perfecto para mi tocador pero tuve que esperar por que no tengo mucho espacio. Este espejo cumple con mis requisitos. Tamaño perfecto, tiene el lado con aumento y es color que buscaba. Recomendado.

El espejo lo compramos para mi madre y le encanto, desde el diseño hasta el color. El tamaño es correcto y la base le permite tener una muy buena estabilidad. Eso sí….hay que pensar en el sitio donde se va a ubicar, ya que no es nada práctico guardarlo y sacarlo constantemente.

Si me gustó , solo que pensé que sería un poco más alto y el círculo del espejo quizás más grande pero digamos que práctico para lo que lo necesito

This is a great sized mirror for a desk or vanity! The 10x magnification side does require you to be quite close to see but you get used to it pretty quickly! Highly recommend!
