Groswaddle Bennie The Bear Swaddles, 0 - 3 Months

The Groswaddle was very useful for keeping my newborn baby's arms in to prevent him being woken by his startle reflex. He also looked very cute wrapped up like a little baby burrito. Look on YouTube for instructions for how to wrap the baby up well.

This is nice lightweight swaddle. However my 2month old gets out of it really easy! The arm section is quite long so ends up with a free flap. Pocket at bottom also seems to start too low down he can pull legs up out of it when trying to do the arms which can make it tricky!

Good quality but I never used them as they're not comfortable at all and this is simply because they don't have Velcro to keep the swaddle tight. Once you take you newborn baby from the cot to feed him during the night or for a nappy change, the swaddle opens and you will end up "messing" with the baby and waking him up.I love the Gro company sleeping bags, but the swaddle are a big no.

Worked reasonably well for our wriggly baby in terms of holding arms in and preventing the startle reflex, but the bottom end is far too loose and often comes away from the upper ‘wrap’ part, leaving a drafty gap. Could do with some more development... maybe some sort of Velcro attachment could work.

Holds the baby's arms well while allowing the hips to move. Put the baby in carefully though otherwise you can wake the baby up and you need to start all over again with settling the baby, argh!
