Very helpful
I needed a change and this book helped me find it. I read the opening chapters as preparation. The daily devotions are spot on. The recipes were practical and the several I made were very good. I highly recommend the chili. I was asked for the recipe when I took it to a school potluck. If you are contemplating doing a Daniel Fast, I encourage you to do it. You won't miss what isn't there, but you'll gain by what is - a new focus on your life as a child of God.

A Blessing to my life
This book has help me change my life and way of eating. Lost 10 lbs in two weeks after changing diet. Most importantly, drew closer to God and saw many blessings putting him first, dedicating myself to him daily with scripture, putting food last on my list to hear from God first, decreasing bad habits to increase good ones. I got a new job, married, build better relationships with my family and friends and overcame many obstacles. I love this book and Susan Gregory for being obedient to God and writing this book for people like me.

Spiritual Growth...
One of the best book purchases I've ever made. It's been a few months and I'm still reaping the benefits of the spiritual enlightenment that I received during my 21 day DF back in January 2016.I've done another since then and I read it periodically, even when I'm not fasting. God has truly gifted Susan to teach His people concerning this fast and the many spiritual benefits to be had. I've recommended it to several people.In the past fasting had been very difficult for me but doing it while learning principles, sound doctrine, and especially pracitical advice, helped me tremendously. I plan to do this fast at least once a year or more as the Spirit leads.

Stepping up the Daniel Fast.
This is a great book if you are doing the Daniel Fast and now want to go a step further. A very good book for those that want to go deeper in the fast and get healthy along the way.

There are some truly delicious recipes in this regime which I will make even when not on the Fast. I love the Moroccan Stew, the Crock pot vegetable stew, and the Vegetarian Chili.

I love the daily meditations and it was my first time to do the Daniel Fast. I followed it all 21 days without cheating...

A must-read
This book is packed with good recipes that can by used as part of your everyday means not just for the Daniel fast which I do every January. Changing or should I say cutting out certain food give the body time to re_energise.
