This is awesome contraption especially if u just want to set your kite up on the beach. It locks in place so makes it easier for my grandsons to fly and they love it. 6 & 3. It’s worth the price for sure

I bought for my 5yo and it’s perfect. It is on the smaller side but exactly what I would want for a child, the reel handle locks in place and is sturdy and not particularly easy for little hands to unlock. Pairs great with our frameless kite.

Pay attention to the measurements, this device is small, child sized. Adults won’t be able to fit their hands into it.

It was a good value for what it was purchased for.

Seems durable, you have to be very aware when reeling in, I managed to tangle it up - string can easily leave the track and get wound around the hand winder. Also the hand holes are for children's hands, very small.

I bought this to use for my Tippicanoe sailboats, which are free sailing sailboats. I attach the line attachment to the bow of the sailboat and let it go. All I have to do is reel it back in when done. I can feed the line and the boat run and pull it in when done or if the need arises.

The clip that attaches to the kite harness is small.. making it difficult to open. Easy fix though🙂
