Two of my ferrets absolutely love this. It's the right shape and it supports them in a way that makes it a first choice napping place. It easily accommodates two 3-4 pound ferrets and it washes well. It does not, however, stand up to ferrets being ferrets. Perhaps this is laziness on the part of Marshall and perhaps it's a marketing ploy. All I can tell you is that these tend to last between 8 months and a year at best before my digger has torn through the lining with his digging. There is *always* loose fluff in this and I have to remove it daily for the safety of my furkids. You would think that something that costs this much would last a lot longer. If I could get away with not buying another, I would, but my ferrets are so sad when it's out for washing that I have no choice but to replace it with another when they wear it out. Shame on Marshall.

I hung it up before I washed it for the first time and some of the colour rubbed off on my ferrets (one was more pronounced than the other.) I didn't realize it was from the hammock until after I had made an appointment with the vet thinking my ferret had some horrible case of ferret jaundice or something. I felt pretty dumb when I had to call back and cancel. Another thing is that I still haven't found a really good position for it in our ferret nation cage. It sags pretty low (very low if you have a whole business dog piled in it) and it sometimes touch the upper most half tray thing. I'm really bad with spatial awareness and figuring out where to put things, though. You know what, I'll just upload a picture. Fickle Ferret A had a slight altercation with the side of it one day when the Hammock came alive and threatened our family's safety. It turned out to just be Fickle Ferret B moving around inside of it and we haven't had any problems from it since.

Our ferret loves this, so we keep buying it. However, this is our 2nd or 3rd one. Eventually the straps seem to break off. The inside also seems to disintegrate. I feel like this is fairly common for this type of product regardless of what kind/brand it is. He also had a different kind of hammock and the inside of that seems to fluff off as well. Seems to be a wear and tear kind of thing with him scratching the bottom to get comfortable. The strap thing is frustrating though.

My babies LOVE this hammock! I got it just yesterday and when I took it out of the packaging I was super impressed. It is HUGE and both of my little girls fit comfortably inside. They love the "lamb's wool" inside, it is in some of their other sleep sacks as well and it is super warm. Surprisingly the yellow outside is extremely soft as well. If they made a human-sized one I would be first in line to buy. Roxie and Velma have only left the hammock since it was added to their cage to eat and use the litter box. They live in the Feisty Ferret home and the hammock stretches across the whole thing, replacing the large square hammock and triangle tee pee that were previously hanging up. I literally had to pick them up out of it and force them to get some exercise today. I originally only bought it because the name is so stinking funny, but I couldn't be more thrilled that my ferreteenies love it as much as I do.

My 2 ferrets love this! Theu lay in it all the time. Most ferrets are active but mine are verrrrry lazy and they like to lay around practically all day! And this is where they are all the time. They both can fit in here together but my ferrets are a little on the smaller side. If you have a larger ferret like one from the pet store for example (i saw some at petco that were twice the size of mine) than only one would fit in here. Theres holes on the sides and on top, my girls like to poke their heads out of each end while they sleep! Also the straps are very long! So mine is not clipped to the cage, i have it tied because it needed to be much shorter or else theyd be laying on the shelf.

I like this because it's cute, my ferrets don't because I don't think it has enough room for the two of them when they crawl in it together, but I'm not exactly sure why. When I put this in their cage, they seem to avoid it and stick with the hammock. It could just be that they've always had the hammock and they don't like the smaller sleeping area (Finn is almost 4!!). I would rate it 4 stars, but I'm sure they'd give it, like, a 1; I settled on 3 because it does what it's for and it's cute in the cage.It does hang lower in their cage than the hammock they have, but despite sleeping wrapped up around each other, they just don't seem to have enough room in this thing when the two of them climb inside, which makes it hang even lower, and they don't seem to be able to get comfortable. When this is in their cage, one of them inevitably ends up sleeping on the floor of the cage, away from the other.So, needless to say, I don't put this in their cage much, I tend to use it just as a replacement when their hammock is in the washer, but its definitely cute!

I have 3 male rats and they love this hammock! This is the third time purchasing this banana hammock for my boys! The last time I purchased it was 8 months ago so that's pretty good for rats! They love to chew things up! It's very large and can easily fit all 3 rats at the same time! I have this in my Critter Nation Cage. Highly recommend for rats!

My ferrets love this! I’ve been looking for it everywhere, could find it in any pet stores in Canada, so I splurged a little to get this one.Product is 5/5! Price is 3/5… they’re are many other great hammocks to buy that are less than $20, they’re also easy to make yourself.

My rats love sleeping in it together or just with their heads popped out the ends. Easy to install

Amazing. My ferret likes going in it when he's cold and it's SUPER CUTE. Why have any other hammock?

Purchased on Feb 6, 2018, it's now April 2, 2018 and it's already falling apart. I'm not impressed, especially considering this product cost over $30.
