Borderlands 3 Super Deluxe Edition Playstation 4

I purchased this game as a gift for my husband. He and I used to play part 1 and 2 and had so much fun playing together. I knew he was excited about part 3 coming and I knew I had to get it for his birthday. I looked at Gamestop where I usually buy all of my games, and the Super Deluxe version was more expensive. I checked all over and this was the best deal on this version of the game. Not only was it the best price, but it was also the fasted delivery time. It arrived so fast, I couldn't' wait until his birthday. I gave it to him the day it arrived. He and I have started playing together. We are having a lot of fun. My daughter even purchased the game on here so the three of us could play together. Her game arrived the next day. That was great because we were eager to play together. I definitely recommend this game. It is a ton of fun!

Well this game has a strong love/hate relationship with fans of the series. I happen to fall on the Love it side. It's a fun continuation of the Borderlands series which I've been a fan of since the first game. I have my favorite characters and even arms manufacturers developed over the series. But I understand that some people feel a bit of lackluster from this game, I enjoy how it expands the games universe and broadens it's story and character myths. The twins aren't much of the antagonists, but they expand on the role of the in universe siren characters.

This game is so much fun! There’s much more content this time around than the first two games. I’ve been playing since release and I still haven’t felt like I’m at the end of the game. I’m loving the gun reworks and the new character abilities.For those writing about not receiving anything from the super deluxe edition didn’t actually play their game. You get a code in case for the season pass on future dlc and since there’s no dlc yet there’s nothing to get right now. You do get extra cosmetics in this edition that are available right away though.

Honestly there is so much to talk about in this game that I will only talk about the basics.In terms of story we have returning characters from Borderlands 2 and yes even Tales of Borderlands.... To cut it simply x amount of years past were they now have the ability and technology to go to these different planets other than pandora to go find these bunch of different vaults on these plants and fight the evil streamer twins. All the classic borderlands humor is there dont worry about that.Needless to say this is the biggest borderlands game with more areas than the base game of borderlands 2. Of course they will add more new areas or proboly new planets to explore in 4 planned DLC campains and if you buy the season pass that includes all 4 it will also have a bonus butt stallion pack.Borderlands 3 truly feels like an improved Borderlands 2 with significant improvements all over.Graphics have defently been improved significantly from 2 but not to a point were it looks unrecognizable it still has the classic graphic black style that borderlands is known for.You can now not only customise your character with skins but also customise your guns witj unique skins and trinkets, tho you will proboly throw that gun away for a better one later on anyways. Still a nice touch.We have these 4 new vault hunters that are even more broken than the previous ones. Amara who is a new siren that can summon six arms!!! She is a more damage type character. We have Moze a girl who can use a FREAKEN GIANT ROBOT!!! she will defently be the tank of the team. We have zane, who's abilitys kind of work more or less like hansome jack clone from the prequel. And of course the man I will main is Fl4k who can use his good bois to destroy your enemies.Gameplay wise it feels like classic borderlands with just a few new mechanics but the base gameplay is mostly the same as all the others.The online co-op has been MUCH improved from 2 were No longer do you have to fight over loot! Well unless you make it in the settings to do so.Oh ya and of course most importantly... LOOOOOOOOOT!!!!! Snipers, Bazukas, smg's, assult rifles, shot guns, pistols, guns with legs!!! Guns that shoot lazers and missiles!!! It's just good old fashioned borderlands loot and boy do I LOVE my loot.And ya that's it for my review... It's just more borderlands 2 and I put over 100+ hours in 2 so I guess I will put another 100+ hours here too.Although I do have to say I don't really like the new villians as much as say hansome jack.... Not bad villians per say but don't really reach to a certain point of (wow we need to kill this evil dude) to (ok I guess we have to kill these evil guys)... Though for some reason I have a bloodlust to obliterate troy (one of the twin villians) for dabbing!!!Also if you are wondering yes, there will be shift codes for golden keys in borderlands 3. In fact the first shift code is up but needs to be redeemed at the offical gearbox shift code site if you have your accounts linked for now, later shift codes should be redeemable in the in game menus like always.Although I do have to take a point off for 2k just being god awful publishers.... Like seriously gearbox couldn't have a worse publisher if they tried... And a worse CEO with randy pitchford has to cause some nonsense.... Needless to say that the PR for this game has been both really good on developers side and really bad with the publisher and the CEO....Basically yes still buy the game just don't buy the PC version yet because it's an epic store exlusive at the moment and you dont to support the anti consumer practices from epic then nobody wins and epic will learn nothing.Hope you enjoy playing.

Borderlands is one of my favorite games and this one is just as good as the others. So much fun to play but even more fun teaming up with others. This version is awesome as it comes with all the DLCs and season pass so that you get all the other stuff they give out over the course of the game. I was also surprised to see this came in a steal book which makes me super happy. Love this game so much.

The steelbook case really accentuates the artwork. Unfortunately when it arrived it had a small circular rust spot about half a centimeter in diameter on the top of the case. Where I live had some heavy storms the last week so it's pretty out of their control.I quickly removed the rust so it wouldnt spread, unfortunate that there is a small white dot on it as a result. Rust spots are very common on steelbook cases so it's no big deal, just make sure you inspect it when you receive it so you can address it quickly to preserve it.Also, for steel book cases there is a common complaint about the bit that holds the cd in place. Instead of the normal one where you push down this one is much more rigid and sturdy which can make you a little anxious when taking out the disc since it takes a bit of force. Otherwise no other flaws, arrived promptly after 1 day, delivered with care, and is otherwise beautiful looking.
