I've had this light for a few months now and i must say it is AMAZING!!! its super bright, so much so that i have to use it on the medium setting when i'm in the city. I have yet to ride in the rain with it so i'm not to sure how water resistant it is. I do recommend you buy a better battery pack, mine does hold a charge for quite a while, how every the holder that comes with it is made on the cheaper side and makes the battery turn upside-down and side a bit.I got the cree x3 XML. Update as of 9/23/2015, this light is still running strong and I'm still using it daily. However I will be upgrading my battery to have more time on my long night rides and keeping the original as a spare. Buy this product you won't be disappointed.

So far, I am liking these lights. Initial night mountain bike ride of an hour and a half provided me a ton of visibility, and the charge remained good. I combined usage of this product with the RioRand 3600, so I had a light on my helmet as well as my handlebars. This allowed good directional lighting.

I am really happy with this light. I was able to attach it to my bike helmet easily, and it produced plenty of light on the lowest setting for most of my ride. I bumped it up to full brightness for a faster, rocky down hill, off road section. There seems to be a good balance between focused and dispersed light. The paperwork with the light indicates the highest setting is 3600 Lumens.

ULTRA BRIGHT. This light is amazing. I have been through 3 other lights and this by far is the smallest/brightest there is. I upgraded the battery pack just to get some additional time out of it, but that was only an option. Great product, have purchased 3 and would buy more if needed.

Super bright!

Great, bright light. However, the batteries do not hold a charge. I ordered two sets and both do the same thing. After they are fully charge and reconnected back to the headlight, the battery indicator drops to two bars after 10-15 minutes. Will have to rebuild the battery pack.
