Destiny in the Palm of Your Hand: Creating Your Future through Vedic Palmistry

A must read for any spiritual seeker!!!
This is one of the best books on Vedic Palmistry I have read. The author has very deep understanding of the vedic philosophy and the science of palmistry and yet it is presented with a very modern frame of mind. Illustrations are very clear and precise. Foreward by David Frawley - says a lot about the quality of the book. I love every page but my favorite is how each feature of the hand is explained in terms of the 3 levels of consciousness and sattva, rajas and tamas. It is only 104 pages, so no useless fluff either. Hard to put it down once you start reading it. Even if you are not interested in palmistry but are a spiritual seeker, you will not regret you bought this book.

Good introduction to Vedic palmistry
One of the few books on Vedic palmistry available in English. I wish it were a bit longer, but it is a good introduction to the subject!

Not really what is expected
This book is certainly nicely illustrated and well presented. It may be an excellent gift for yours friends, if they would like to discover some aspects of palmistry. However, for a more experienced reader, it might be difficult to grasp if the content is specifically vedic palmistry or a mix of occidental and oriental pespectives.

I wanted to learn Indian palmistry but the information in this book is completely useless for my purposes
Not what I expected. Too much information on the background of palmistry and what everything means; I already know that. Tell me something I don't know or a slightly different version of what I do know. That would be helpful in my study of palmistry. I wanted to learn Indian palmistry but the information in this book is completely useless for my purposes.

Destiny in the palm of your hand
average book on palmistry, it says its Indian palmistry but uses western terminology throughout, throwing a little in about sattva rajas and tamas in a few places. It does give a few samples that are of interest but overall its not a necessary volume to have. I wish some publisher in India would find a really detailed work with traditional names/terminology and print that instead of these books that claim to be Indian palmistry and then start off talking about cheiromancy.
