Love this product, have been using for years. The oil relieves the eye much better than most other brands.

This, along with lid wipes, have made the biggest long term change in my eye sight, discomfort and pain level. I think it would work for anyone with chronic dry eyes whether you're diagnosed with MGD or not. If you look them up you'll find out they aren't actually regular moisturizing drops. They work with the electrostatic properties of your eye surface to hold existing fluid on the eye. I think I had MGD for years and just wasn't diagnosed. It took almost a year of use, along with lid wipes and eyelid heating bead goggles to get my glands softened up and see a really lasting difference but it was worth the time and every penny. Now I no longer use the warmth on my lids and only use the wipes a few times a week or if I wear make up. I used to wake up from sleep almost every day and it would feel like my lids were tearing of a layer of my cornea when I opened my eyes. Rarely does this happen anymore. When I notice some pain in the morning I resume lid wipes and make sure I'm using the drops regularly. I was facing a really expensive procedure and this worked. I wear contacts and my PureMoist cleaning/storage solution from Opti-free actually works better than any I've ever tried so during the day I don't use the Retaine drops if my lenses are in and they still work.

Finally! The answer to my ongoing struggle with dry eye has come at last! I have been battling this issue for more than 2 years. My right eye tears up constantly, blurring my vision and negatively impacting my daily life. CONSTANTLY dabbing my eye with a tissue! Sounds weird that the condition has been diagnosed as "dry eye" when the problem is a "wet" one, but apparently my eye is trying to compensate for lack of moisture by continually producing tears. Following visits to my eye doc, I tried Systane Balance and Systane Ultra with no relief. Next step was steroid drops to see if we could trick my eye into producing proper moisture. Worked as long as I was on the RX, but reverted back to tearing up again once med was finished. Doc was going to add Restasis to the regime, but I almost passed out from sticker shock once I saw the price....even with insurance! Discovered I had a sample of Retaine MGD on hand from a previous eye doc that I had never tried and....thank the Lord, it worked! I will never be without this stuff! And NOT cost prohibitive!

My eye doctor wants me to use this item. HE wants me to buy it from him. I found it lest money if I buy it from Amazon. Amazon is the Best in Prices. This item works well. I use it 3 time a day.

These vials contain about 30% less solution than my last order. It is very clear and immediately obvious when I first used this order. Suspicious, so I then compared them side by side, each vial, held up against the light. The company has clearly reduced the volume of solution by at least a third. Unfortunate, because I needed the original volume of solution for both eyes…and some mis-hits. It’s not just a profit margin strategy for the company but its consequence is negative to treatment for us. However, in all fairness, it’s still the best dry eye solution I have ever used. Thus, the stars.

I sit in front of a computer all day.... my eye doctor recommended this brand to me, after using OTC drops and still having dry eyes. These are definitely WAY more moisturizing and my eyes feel refreshed immediately after using, and feel comfortable for a longer time than when using regular ol' drops. They are more expensive than the OTC drops, but hey, we only have two eyes, right? Quality here is definitely worth the money on these drops.
