Big things come in little packages.
I normally do not like leaving feedback -- even if I buy something that does not turn out to be as good as it appeared. I feel that I did not do due diligence in my research. That being said, I must say, "I Love These Little Babies." I live in Italy and was having a time finding someone to install them that didn't want to charge me upwards of 3 times what I paid for them (exchange rate is 1.25 to the dollar). Now for the review. I installed them myself, in just about three hours. I wanted to ensure the install looked as professional as possible, and also was done safely. This included wrapping all the wires twice with electrical tape. I found a local car part store and bought a fuse tap (Highly recommended it). I went directly into the fuse box, using the closed side of my inition fuse so it comes on when I turn the bike on. By the way, I installed this unit on a 2009 Yamaha VStar 1100. Initially, when I finished and turned it on, it sounded pretty loud in my enclosed garage. However, when I got on the road I was disappointed that I could barely hear them at just over 45 MPH. When I got home, bummed out and planning on ordering the 800 watt system to replace this one, I remembered the 3.5 mm jack seemed slightly loose when I plug it into my IPod, so I attempted to push it in further -- which it did. Instantly, I noticed the difference in sound. Tomorrow will be a week that they have been installed, and now when I get home from work, I change over into my riding gear, start her up and ride around, with no where to go, just enjoying my tunes. As someone else noted, when you have your IPod (Mine, IPod Touch 4), turned up 3/4 of the way, the in-line volume control still plays pretty loudly even though it is turned all the way down. I have driven on the Autostrada (Europe) at about 80 MPH and can still here my music pretty well, with the volume on the IPod at about 3/4 and the in-line volume control cranked. All that said, I have various genres on my IPod (Classic R&B, Classic Rock, Jazz, Hip Hop, Rap, Country, etc...) and they all sound good. So, if you want a big bang for your buck, buy these little babies. I have played for several friends who ride and they wanted the link to where I bought them so they can buy a pair. Before the install, I used a pretty good pair of noise-cancelling hi-fi earbuds that when I had the music playing, I could not hear anything else -- even an ambulance right behind me (Can you say, D-A-N-G-E-R-O-U-S, OR JUST DUMB?). Glad I bought these. At the price I got them, thinking about buying another pair, just to have for later, if these ever have problems.Update all: I upgraded my speakers to the 800 watt pyle speakers and must say I am happier that a cat in a shoebox full of catnip. Only suggestion is for those that if you have the capability, solder your speaker wires to the old connectors. The clips on the 800 watt speakers are not the same and by cutting the wires, and having a very tight fit because of where I mounted the amp, I kept losing connecting everytime I zip-tied my wires.Once again, I am in Italy, and not only do I get to enjoy riding around Europe, but I get to hear my sounds in the process. Does it get any better?

07 Harley Davidson Road King Classic...EASY INSTALL AND IMMEDIATE PLAY:)
Lay items out...then take off your seat to find the best place to "tuck in" or hard mount the amp. I tucked it into the gap in under the forward seat area just aft of the gas tank. The Harley "jumper/adaptor" worked like a champ...which plugs into the rear brake light assembly under the seat. I had power and play in less than 30 minutes. Speakers mounted easily and wire length was fine to run the center of the gas tank and under seat to adaptor.Great for mild cruising...for low Highway speeds definitely with wind screen on. If you want more...than drop the 1K for a front fairing assembly and stereo.0-55 MPH...works very good...no base, but who cares for 60 bucks55-65 MPH...fairly audible...can hear music but words are not 100% clear65-80 MPH...buy ear buds...not worth playing$60 and very fast delivery. I'm extremely happy and think I got the best that this price point has to offer. Its not Five Stars because of the high treble (to be expected with such small speakers) and no base. But I knew that going in. So, I'm five star satisfied with the price point...and 3.5/4 Star satisfied with the product...a solid 4 Stars.

not too hard to install took about and hr, i suggest also buying the battery tender because you can use the cord from that and hook to your battery and use the other end to hook to the amp for making your power connection easier..the unit ounded great with my iphone for about a week..then one speaker started to crackle, after further inspetion i removed the speaker cover and found that the speaker had a very small crack in it,and that was vibrating and making the crackle sound when music was playing, so i took super glue and ran a small bead around the speaker itself,( let glue dry overnight before you install speaker cover again), that seemed to do the job, the crackle sound was gone, also suggest buying a 12volt swith for for the amp power so you can shut the amp off anytime and not kill your battery,i have mine mounted on the left side under mine tank it makes it nice and easy to turn off even when riding...in all words i would buy this unit again...
