Hifonics Hfi1500d 1,500 Watt RMS Mono Block Amplifier

I purchased this amplifier to complement my Alpine SWR-1542D. I haven't yet used the two together, as I haven't found the time to build a box for the new sub. However, I have the amp connected to my old (2009 or 2010 or so) Kicker L7 Solo-Baric at 2 ohms. To be honest, I wasn't expecting the best performance from the amp at the price that it's at, but I just decided to try it anyways, given the great reviews I've heard/read. I am very pleased with the power this amp delivers. The only issue that I've had in the past two months of using this amp is that, when the temperature drops, the remote gain control knob can become quite difficult to turn. This isn't a major issue, as the remote always functions properly. It is just a slight annoyance when you live in the north and frequently face sub-zero temperatures during the winter. Other than that, I have nothing but good things to say about this product. I hope this helps!

bought this amp having owned multiple hifonics amps before and I was NOT disappointed. All of the people I see on here bashing the hifonics brand negatively has never owned one or has no idea how to wire them or what size subs they can take. I ad a 2000w rms 15 running off this amp for 3 hours and the amp was still cold. no head what so ever. great power and quality for the price. if your looking to get big stinky power for a good price and STILL have a good quality amp. the hifonics brand is what you want. easy to install. all aluminum casing stays nice and cool and all us audio freaks know a cool system is a good running system. I now have 2 12 clarions running off this thing and they can hardly take the amp. I looked up this model number in google and typed in amp dyno and there a guy who all he does specificly is dyno these amps. he dyno'd a 1700w verson and they DO infact putout just as much if not more than the advertised power. he got 1880w rms at 1 ohm. insane amp BUY IT

I have it wired to 3 10in subs @ 1ohm and while sometimes it pounds very good, there are other times where it performs lower. I do have some light dimming, so it may be too much juice from my current alternator and battery, but I've never experienced this from other amps, such as Rockford, Kenwood, or even a hi Fonics amp I had over 10 years ago. These were all running off a stock alternator and battery, and they stayed strong, even if the lights dimmed. I think I may just go with a Rockford 1,200 watt mono amp, and sell this one, I'd enjoy it if it stayed constant.

I got a Skar Zvx dual 2 ohm sub wired down to 1 ohms on this amp and its beatin hard that I can feel it in my voice another amp and another Skar Zvx would knock the pictures off the wall for real lol

I was testing this amp seeing of I liked it it is the best amaxing ever people at school always ask me what I have will I have a hifinmics I tell them but when I was testing it just cruising around I got pulled over the cop said city ordinance says it can't be heard over 50ft will it was loud enough to get pulled over thank god he didn't give me a ticket!

I bought this amp to power my 15" Hifonics Olympus rated at 1600Rms and this amp pushed it like a beast!! It can push it for hours and not get hot. Seriously this is "Power From the Gods". I am really satisfied with the product and the shipping was right on time like stated. Amp was in the box in perfect new condition. I am planning on buying another soon!! Five stars all the way!

Great amp, it bangs!! It just gets hot when I use it for about an hour, but still great amp!!
