I love how big the brim is - shields my face very well. The only issue I have with it is how it sits on my head - I can't quite get it small enough to fit so it doesn't quite fit properly. So the sun is extremely hot. This straw hat does it job. I use to have the hat top cover. However i think this hat have the top expose keep my hair a break from the heat from the hat. It can be fold up and easily put in bag. It save a lot of space and keep the hat in shape. The rubber rope attach in the back help keep the hat in place. This design is a plus.Of course, i do not stay at the sun direct for long time.
