Originally, I was looking for a case that was just seethrough so I can show off the colour of the phone (Breathing Crystal) and stumbled across this.The design allows a grippier and genuinely safe feel and also lets me hook my finger to the back of it via a really convenient metal ring.This ring initially felt quite flimsy when pulled on but has held up VERY well and can even be used as a stand for your phone to watch videos. The convenient bump on the back that holds the ring (and magnet) also protects your camera lense from being unnecessarily scratched on surfaces which I thought was a neat part of the design 😉I wish I could tell you how effective it is protecting your phone from drops, but I haven't dropped it yet! Which is quite impressive, if I'm honest.Who knew a simple ring could prevent so many mishaps...The magnet on the base of the ring is compatible with my phone mount in my car too, which makes this the perfect phone case for me.Well done!

I believe this product _might_ be for the P30 _LITE_, not the Pro: the case was too short for the phone by a good 8mm, and the side button location did not match the unit either. Also, there is a hole in the case that suggests a headphone socket: the P30 Pro doesn't have a headphone socket (but I believe the Lite does).In any case, did not fit. Returned for refund.

This is a really excellent case, genuinely. I ordered this case as well as another one (that was just a plain clear one), and honestly I've only had this case on since I've had them both. I ordered the blue colour, I will say it's much darker than the pictures show, I actually thought it was the black one sent by mistake when I opened it, but it doesn't bother me, it's just a dark navy instead of blue. I've had it over two months now, and it's extremely sturdy. The P30 is a almost a bit *too* sleek for its own good, so this case makes it so much easier to hold on to and to use.I don't know how I ever used cases without a ring on the back now as well, it's so useful! I saw maybe one or two reviews saying the ring was a bit flimsy, but mine isn't at all. I've accidentally bent it all the way backwards and I was scared it was broken, but it was absolutely fine and hasn't loosened at all since I've had it (and I use it A LOT).The clear backing is nice since I have the breathing crystal colour of the P30 and I didn't want to cover the colour up completely. The only thing I'd say is the clear material does get very smudgy and attracts a lot of dust, but honestly I'm never looking at the back of my phone so I don't notice it, I just remove it now and again and give both my phone and the case a bit of a clean with a micro fiber cloth and it's grand.The bump where the ring is attached may be a pro or con for some, it doesn't bother me personally and I like that it means the camera lens is never even near touching a surface when I put my phone down on its back. Some people may not like that there's such a bump on the back, though the surface area of the ring mount is big enough that when it's down flat it doesn't wobble around for me.I've had two minor drops of my phone since having this case and both times my phone has been completely protected on the edges and internally, BUT I had a screen protector on (which cracked and chipped) so I will say this case will not protect your screen!TL;DRAll in all this is a brilliant case, for a brilliant price, it improves the handling of the P30 greatly, the ring is super sturdy and amazingly useful, and it absolutely provides brilliant shock absorption. The case won't crack, smash or chip on you. The only thing is you will need a screen protector too because this won't protect the screen very much.

Dropped my phone and unfortunately it landed on the corner and my screen smashed only had the phone 5 weeks 😢 but I love the magnetic disc on the back and the loop for holding.

The P30 is a really smooth slippery phone so I needed a case to give it a bit of grip and also protect from scratches and bumps. Also wanted one with a clear back to show off the shiny aurora blue of the phone. This case fits the bill for those 3 things, with a bonus of the disc in the middle to stick it to in-car magnetic holder. It fits around the phone really well and cut-outs are in all the right places. Sadly it has some flaws which make me wonder how long I'll stick with it though, which are: 1) the disc protrudes several mm from the back, meaning if you try to use the phone when flat on a table, it will wobble around ; 2) the ring around the disc (to be used to hold the phone securely, or use as a stand) is very difficult to get out unless you have long nails ; 3) the power and volume cut-outs have gaps which let dust in between the phone and case.

Although early days, this seems like a good choice. Had previously ordered flip-cover cases but was unimpressed. I already use the innovative ring which feels comfortable to hold. 1 minor drop thus far and coped as would expect. Ive paired with tempered glass screen protector and await delivery of dash mounted magnetic holder. I'm pleased with this.

The case looks good, the magnetic car holder works perfectly. The ring pull stand/holder is really handy however once you have no nails it's very hard to get out to use. I havent dropped my phone yet so cant comment on the lip, i must say it isn't a very big one ao may not work and there is very little on the camera slot also.

Great design, fits perfectly. Looks great. Very good purchase. This case is the best I've ever bought. It protects my phone but shows the phone off too. Lovely item.
