Usually they stay flexible but start to crack at the pointed ends from years of use. But these new ones look and feel soft and rubbery, just as they should. Just like the old one, there's a peaked "QUIKOIN" logo inside. I assume they're made of some kind of vinyl. The red and blue color ones are translucent, and the black one is opaque. They all come with a short metal beaded chain.Sadly as they've become rare, the price has gone up. Not outlandish (at least my order wasn't), but they cost more than they can easily hold on change. That's NOT how it used to be.For folks who didn't grow up getting these at the bank or school (with the local high school season football schedule or some advertising on the flat side), these are a handy way to keep a small amount of change together in your pocket.
