Nice design suggesting quality and worked first time
I bought this so that my new Dell XPS13 (9370) could communicate to our business network and to monitors/TVs via its USB C ports (as no alternative on the new slim line laptops).First impressions were good, nice packaging and good product appearance. This was followed by testing Ethernet VGA and HDMI outputs without any problem at all. Then connected my mouse and keyboard to the two USB 3 ports and again no problem.I tried connecting a USB Flash drive to what appeared to be a pass thru USB C port but it wasn't recognised (using the single USB C to USB 3 adapter provided by Dell). It seems that this port is not a pass thru but purely for supplying power to the laptop to the laptop.When I tried using it for the purpose intended, the XPS complained that it was only getting 37.5w instead of the 45w it needs and is shown on the Dell Power pack I used. Going directly to the power port on the laptop had been and is fine. As I don't need to use the Adapter to power the laptop this is not an issue for me. It might be XPS specific and the facility is advertised as being for Macbooks.All in all I'm very happy and hope it continues to work as well it has done today.

This product does not work
This product is not fit for purpose. It is not possible to get my laptop to output hdmi to my monitor via this hub. I have tried downloading the necessary driver (instructions not included), with no success. I am an IT professional with over 20 years experience and my own consultancy, I’m not saying that to be flippant but simple ‘unplug, reboot, reattach’ will not wash. Utter waste of money. Buyer beware

HDMI rarely works
I also agree with Lewis Hardwick - the HDMI hardly ever works. I have to repeatedly unplug everything and reconnect. 1 time in 20 it connects to my monitor. Connection seems very loose and wobbly, which may be part of the problem (much worse than my other USB C connectors, so not the laptop).
