She-Ra: Season 1, Vol. 1

Over all it's a good series
They did a very good job in making it. It's just the way I remember it when I watched it as a child. The only thing that I could find fault with is the summaries of episodes one and two. In episode one into Etheria it says that He-man went there to find a mysterious sword, but that's not the reason for the Sorceress had asked him find a person and had given him the sword were he would know the person when he found the person and in episode two they say that he finds Force Captain Adoria with the Sword of Protection, but she had taken it when she captured him in episode one.

Good Old Fashioned Entertainment!
Bought this DVD for my grandchildren to watch on the trip to the beach. When they saw it, they both moaned (9 year girl and 5 year old boy), because it was not one of their DVD's. Neither of them wanted me to play it, but I put it in the DVD player anyway and they were hooked before the first episode ended! Every time they get in my vehicle now they say put SheRa in the DVD player. Will be buying the other seasons soon. Just shows that good old fashioned kid movies never go out of style!

For the honor of Grayskull!!
Great, blast from the past. I feel like they skipped around on what episodes they included on this Season 1 set but many I just do not remember watching so it was like the first time. It is goofy and kind of cheesy now that I am older but enjoyed having a little comfort TV as I work from home or need a break from being a serious adult.

I blocked the Spongebob and Uncle Grandpa channel from my kids!
You can't go wrong with classics like He-man and She-ra. Every frame of the animation was literally hand painted by master artisans. The musical score was played by a real orchestra. Ok, maybe it's not as good as Monet or Motzart, but certainly astronomically above what "effort" they put into contemporary rivals like Spongebob or Uncle Grandpa. And every story is filled with comedy, not toilet humor; action, not perversion; morals, not how to be a loser; you get the point. Get this for your kids. Do their generation a favor.

She Has The Power!
Classic animated series from the 1980s that is perfect for young boys and young girls alike. Perfect to watch with your child bringing back fond memories from your youth while they're creating new memories for their childhood. Has some nice Special Features with creator interviews that are extremely interesting.

For the honor of Grayskull...still good after all these years.
I watched this with my kids, and I couldn't believe I still liked the episodes as an adult. As a con, the body types are idealized, so if you don't like that type of thing, maybe you won't like it. Like He-Man, it always has a cute little lesson at the end. Its good enough over thirty years later to compete with a lot of current shows in my children's eyes.

Generations!
When I was a young boy, I love He-Man and She-Ra. I'm 33 now and more than happy that my little three year old girl loves them as much as her Daddy once did. She loves it so much, She is going to be She-Ra for Halloween and it will also be the theme of her birthday party in December! Bring on all of the episodes!

A gift that keeps on giving for generations :-)
I got this collection for my friend's 8-year old daughter who didn't seem too excited about She-Ra at first...a week later, this little girl's running around the house posing & yelling "SHE-RAAAAAA!!!" like it came out yesterday, lol. If you have girls & you're hesitant on buying DVDs of today's questionable cartoons, kick it old school & grab some She-Ra or He-Man...entertaining to the youthful eye & always ending a with a valuable lesson. Couldn't be happier with this gift choice!

Back in the 80's!
So She-Ra season.1 vol.1 takes you right back to the beginning, where her and prince Adam her twin brother meet. Most of disc one is actually the movie (the secret of the sword). The rest of the disc you're introduced to new characters and great adventure. The quality of this dvd is fantastic, very crisp and clear. I can't wait to get vol.2. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is an avid She-Ra or He-Man fan.Brings back great memories :)

Doesn’t include all 32 episodes
I wouldn’t recommend this set if you want the complete volume 1 season 1 with all 32 episodes that carry into volume 2. This only has the first 20 episodes, leaving a gap between volumes 1 & 2.
