Worth the price

Within the Field of Education, there are few well-written, well-researched, accessible resources in the area of school crisis preparedness. This book is the exemplar. It is clear that the author has spent a lifetime both as a practitioner and a researcher in this area. I appreciate the well-vetted resources, the case studies, and tabletop exercises that can be used in schools and in professional development classes in this area. I haven't found a better compilation of resources that I can pull out and access no matter what stage of a crisis I am responding to in schools.

This book is an essential & truly invaluable reference for all personnel who work in the school environment and support students in times of crisis. Thank you, Kerr & King!

The quality of the physical book is fine, but this is clearly written by either people who have never worked in a school, or have been in administration so long they have no concept of how a school actually operates. Had to read this for my Masters and it is a struggle to read. I have other books on crisis that would have served me better.

It has something all over the pages! Can't return it because I need it for a class not happy at all
