Light weight easy to use
Very intense pressure build up so be careful. The initial hole wasn’t made well so I had to put a pick to open. Now fine. Snakes well big and small. I kept the plastic box it came in to store when not in use.

Yay!
I live in an apartment with a balcony. In order to water my plants, I have to make about six trips with a watering can. Okay no problem but there are also spiderwebs all over the plants. We also have things that need hosed off. We needed a hose! We got an adaptor first to make sure we could hook a hose to our apartment sink. Then we got this hose. I ordered the 25', enough to get from my sink to outside. The hose arrived and it was so light and compact! Perfect for an apartment. But wait! Extended, it was only about 10 ft. We pulled in it but nothing. Before we sent it back, we read the instructions. Right! It expands! We'd forgotten. So we hooked it up and magically, sure enough, it expanded all the way to the balcony! Kind of an amazing thing. We watered the plants, my husband thought he'd be funny and spray my face until I screamed and my shirt was soaked 😆 and we got rid of the spider webs. The nozzle has a thin jet, and also a misty spray. Turning the water off shrinks the hose, as you let water out it keeps shrinking. At one point the hose was so short that water would spill into the house, so I closed the nozzle and went to the sink, and opened it into the sink, into a bowl. The hose finished contracting. We hung it out for a bit to let the extra water drop out. Stored it back in its original container. I really like this hose out of the box. I hope it lasts us a long time. I'm quite pleased with it.

My second pocket hose
Pros: Compact storage Easy to manipulate Spray nozzle provided Safe to drink from Cons: You are supposed to store it indoors when not in use. Really, Pocket Hose? Really? The hose keeps spraying for at least a minute after you turn the spigot off Not as durable as other hoses -- won't last Cannot be patched Neutral Cannot change nozzle My first pocket hose developed a leak when it got a kink in it. Unlike standard garden hoses, there's no patching a pocket hose. You have to toss the whole thing. It lasted maybe two seasons. I'm expecting the same from this one. Dock one star. The competition all have poor reviews. Local stores didn't have a good selection. I decided the devil you know .... so I got a second one. I opted for the 50 ft hose instead of the 25 ft hose this time. As it happens, the longer hose was a great choice for me. It's not much heavier, and the cost per yard is cheaper. The extra length makes it easier to move around when hosing. This type of hose packs up compactly when dry. As it fills with water, it gets expands and gets longer. when you turn off the spigot or faucet, the hose starts to shrink and get shorter. While it shrinks, it sprays! It takes a minute or more to empty the hose to where it stops spraying. This was quite a surprise the first time I used it. The 50 ft hose takes longer to empty than the 25 ft hose. The hose is made of some kind of fabric. It is definitely not as rugged as a standard garden hose. My first one lasted maybe two seasons, and I'm expecting same from this one. The first one sprung a leak when it kinked. Or maybe its time had come. You can drink from this hose. I want potable water to water my vegetables and herbs. A potable water hose is hard to find. This hose is lighter than a standard garden hose, and more flexible. This makes it easy to carry and compact to store when dry. Even when spraying full blast, it's much easier to drag and carry this type of hose than a standard garden hose. It comes with a nozzle permanently attached. I hope you like that nozzle because it's not going anywhere. I find the nozzle is fine for watering the garden. They don't tell you this in the infomercial, but you're supposed to store the hose indoors when not in use. Yes, detach a dripping wet hose and carry it into the house. You have got to be kidding me. Dock another star!

Good Enough - Edit: Almost 1 Year Later
I dislike the plastic bit at the end, it’s falling off already. I’m sure it because my children are not very gentle with it though so if you don’t have kids or if your kids actually listen to you and leave the hose alone, that may not be an issue. I like that it shrinks up when the water empties. It’s very lightweight and never gets a kink in it. I prefer it to my standard garden hose. *******EDIT******* The garden hose sadly did not hold up for a full year. I purchased it at the end of Aug 2023 and in June 2024 it busted a seam. I got another hose of a different brand with the same concept at Home Depot but the quality is a bit better and it has metal connectors. To be completely honest, I did need to stretch the hose to reach the other side of my yard and that likely contributed to its demise. I didn’t get to use it much though as I got it in August and I live in the PNW, so I used it for a month before it stayed in the garage until April, then it fell apart in June. That’s generously 4 months of active use. It might hold up better without being pulled, and the design of the hose does allow you to buy a longer one than may be necessary because there’s not a lot of bulk to it and it’s so lightweight. Final verdict is, if you can’t spend a little more for a better quality version, get this product and but be mindful not to pull on it and always make sure the hose has slack. Definitely keep it in a shed or garage over the winter because it is plastic. I don’t know how it would hold up to extreme heat, the PNW doesn’t get many super hot days, so that’s something else to consider.

Not good quality or value I bought three. Two are broken. One of them bust this week after leaving the tap on and the hose fully pressurized. Luckily i wasnt on a 6 week holiday. I would recommend a cheaper one on amazon because they will never last like a regular hose.
