One stopped working altogether and the other started making a high pitch noise (definately not ultrasonic sound). I put one in the garage where I get a lot of spiders and this does nothing to them. Wish I can get my money back! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Not to sure *by A***E on 20 November 2019* Haven't noticed much difference to be honest... 1st lot stopped working within 1 month... Although replacement sent straight away ### ⭐⭐⭐ Smoke and Mirrors? *by I***H on 30 August 2019* Firstly, one of the six failed out of the box. That said it may have only been the failure of the light indicator that shows it is powered as you cannot tell if it is actually producing the required high frequency noise that it is supposed to, and could be why there doesn’t seem to be any reduction in the flies, wasps, spiders etc. This makes it difficult to assess whether these are working or not. If the light is on and assumed working, it certainly doesn’t deter anything although we may just have a large number of deaf beasties. As a previous reviewer mentioned, the operating light is bright so if you like a dark bedroom then these will certainly keep you awake but will probably help stop the bugs bashing into the walls and furniture. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.cy/products/116193178-ultrasonic-pest-repeller-electronic-pest-repeller-plug-in-drive-insect](https://www.desertcart.com.cy/products/116193178-ultrasonic-pest-repeller-electronic-pest-repeller-plug-in-drive-insect) --- *Product available on Desertcart Cyprus* *Store origin: CY* *Last updated: 2026-10-28*
