Hide TV Wires Kit in-Wall Power and Cable Management Kit (Fast Shipment)

I bought this kit based on the reviews here, Before I purchased the kit, I contacted Hide TV Wires support on their recommendations on the complex wall, which they answered my questions.With right tools, it takes me 30 minutes to install this kit.Pros:Very good instructionsBeautiful resultsCons:You will need right tools.You will need long HDMI cable.This kit is very simple and easy to install compared to other "round" outlets with 1 outlet (this kit has 2 outlets and bigger slot for additional HDMI and cables.

Installed this kit to hide the wires for a wall mounted TV in the living room. Having done this several times for myself and family members, I was pleased with the kit contents and relative ease of installation when compared with similar kits (but more expensive kits) from local big box stores. In particular, I did like the use of romex for connecting the power inlet to the power outlet; while I did not need it on this particular install, having the flexibility of modifying the length should it be needed was a nice feature.

This kit is exactly what I’ve been looking for! Everything you need is included along with some really great instructions. My only dislike is that the screws need a little effort to get into the wall box and faceplate but I now pre-screw the holes a little and it makes it easier.

Easy to install with only basic home improvement knowledge and gives the no wire aesthetics desired. However if I was going to do this again I'd get one with a recessed outlet. I had to add a 90 degree outlet adapter because the power cables wouldn't fit the tight confines behind my TV and mount

Make sure you follow the directions for wiring the outlet. I hooked it up wrong because I felt like I had done this before and didn’t need any directions for this part....wrong....I put the white wire on the wrong side of the outlet, plugged it in and the power wire melted. I took it apart, wires it like the instructions said and it worked perfectly. Also, make sure you run large power supply boxes through the cover plate, then the box with the fuzzy brush plates the first time. I had to re-run the sound bar 3 times because first I forgot to go through the brush plate. Then I put it all together and realized I had to go through the cover plate too. If it’s just wires your ok, but if the wire is hard wired to the sub woofer or there is a large box at the end of the power supply, those ends need to go through the cover plate, then the fuzzy brush plate, then the blue box. When I melted my wires and had issues, I emailed customer service about my struggles. I was nice to them, and they were nicer to me. They offered to help me out quickly and were willing to go the extra mile to get me to the finish line, even though it was my fault 100%. Very nice. Thank you Robert.

I was initially pleased with the product as they included a template... loved that. However after cutting drywall, inserting box then I take out the AC and cable hole inserts and to my surprise None of the screws included fit the holes in the box or the inserts!I had to go and rummage through my stash of screws to find ones that fit... very annoying

The instructions that come with this kit is very easy to understand and makes the whole process a piece of cake. I highly recommend this product!

This is a great kit for keeping the wires in the wall, comes with everything needed. The only problem was that some of the screws were the wrong size which made the installation harder.
