Batman by Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo Omnibus Volume 1 (Batman Omnibus)

Book came in pretty bad shape. Drop on corner has marked every single page. Spine is also slightly torn. I returned this book in the photos and ordered another. Second come perfectly packaged in a tight fitting box. Slight ding on spine but its on sale and its fine. Absolutely fantastic collection of new 52 batman. I'll be getting the second volume also.

Great start for beginners getting into Batman (such as myself) 10/10

This run is epic. Synder's take on Batman was a masterpiece in its early days. This volume collects up to issue 33 and is a great starting point for new readers to jump into the character. You need no prior knowledge really to jump in to this series. People have complained about the binding but I'm not bothered by it really. It's not as bad as people are making it out to be. So glad I brought this omnibus. I it looks neat and tidy on my self. The book came in fantastic condition with no damage what so ever, which I was nervous there might be. Fantastic book

I ordered this for my boyfriend who has been after this as a collectible. He said the quality was immaculate and the printing of the pages and etc was perfect and he enjoyed reading it and suggests it.

The binding makes it quite hard to see the full middle pages but besides that the colours are nice and the actual comic is amazing.

Gamble if it's actually in 'new' condition. I would have opted for partial refund but you have to return it if you want a refund at all. Haven't even unwrapped it and it's got a big gash between the rear cover and the spine. Hopefully that's the extent of the damage. The box it was delivered in was in fine condition. This a review of the product condition, not the content within it.

The description states 900 pages but it's over 1100. Great artwork. A must for any Batman fan.

The five stars is for the product content.... Amazon fulfillment however leaves much to be desired. Product was shipped via post office, which apparently lost or destroyed the book, as it was soon untraceable. A day later it was all of a sudden UPS, fulfillment for the book (if I had to guess, a completely new book shipped again). Book arrived in five days, vs the "one day delivery"....box was almost form fitted (which is very good for a book this size), however the corners were not protected and thus the bottom two corners were smashed in😔😡. Book binding seems very well done though and the covers, back and front seem protected by the air bags placed on top of the omnibus.... So ultimately I am not happy as a collector. It is difficult to ship such a huge book. But I feel much more care could be taken. Kind of par for the course for Amazon. All that said, I have read the Snyder run on Batman a few times, and just for the court of owls and death of the family storylines, I'd have to say it's a no brainer to get this book. It is quality, at least mine was good binding etc. The stories are some of the best Batman out there and the art is excellent. It's a gamble if the book will arrive intact, but a pretty sure bet it'll at least be damaged at least a little. But still worth the chance for such a monumental body of work. I've been an avid Batman fan for many many many years. So trust me, the stories and art are killer and worth it if you can get a book in good shape🤔. Happy gambling y'all. And good luck.
