Vera Wang Love Noir Digital Photo Frame, 8-Inch

This quality Vera Wang digital photo frame will fit into most types of decors with it's simple and classic styling. The elegant black and silver looks especially nice with black and white digital photos. The part of the screen where the photo appears is 8 inches in diameter and has a 4:3 aspect ratio screen so you see the the full photo without having to crop the picture or see black space at the top and bottom. Your photo fills the screen. It has a resolution of 800X600 which means the photos are sharp and clear as long as you shoot the photo in at least that resolution. The frame holds up to 1600 photos, depending on their resolution, with an internal 256 MB internal memory. You can input photos with its card reader from SD, xD, MS, MS Pro and MMC memory cards. It also has a USB port so photos can be loaded from a flash drive or from a camera or smartphone, using the adaptor that comes with the phone or camera. It comes with a remote control, A/C adaptor and user guide. It' not your typical digital frame, in fact it's the one I've ever seen. This would make a lovely gift.

Not overly impressed. Software is outdated. Not easy to navigate through the menus. Supporting foot is weak and wide angled making the frame sit back farther than it should, which sometimes distorts the picture.

I purchased this item for my mom as a birthday gift. Initially I was very happy with the frame. It is heavy and seems to be good quality. However the quality of the interface to upload pictures and remote is very basic anmd could be better. 3 months after having this frame, the remote has started to burn through batteries within a week. We contacted Vera Wang since there is a 1 year warranty and were basically told we were out of luck. They no longer make this product and they don't keep stock on hand so we would have to contact the place we purchased it and hope they would replace it. Sorry but this is ridiculous especially considering the price paid for this frame. I will NEVER purchase another Vera Wang product since it is obvious they will not stand by their products and warranties offered.

Very attractive frame and seemingly high quality materials. However, I was disappointed in the picture quality in the sense that the viewing angle is quite limited. Also, the stand is too flimsy for the weight/size of this frame. Another feature that it lacks is the ability to display a single picture (vs. having it in slideshow mode). I'll be returning this item.

I would have rated a 5 star, but the frame stand isn't what I would say is good! It is plastic and too short. No matter where I place it I can't see the pictures because if angle. It faces up. I placed it high and low, and I still had same issue from main visual point. As you can see in photo I added, the frame faces upward. This makes it hard to view from a distance (this spot is about 15 steps from my couch, and because of angle I can see the screen). The frame does have the key holes on back for hanging, and this will be what I do even though that was not my intention when purchased. I also purchased the Vera Wang frame MD8005, its stand design is fantastic! It's a shame they didn't use that design with this frame.

I read several reviews of this product before I ordered it and have been very satisfied, I got exactly what I expected! Several pictures can be a little grainy but it's easily fixed. I have gotten so many compliments on it since placing it in my office. If you want something elegant with the functionality of displaying tons of pictures this is a great option!

I purchased this as a 25th anniversary present for my parents. It is beautiful, and they love it. Also, the picture is clear, and the wireless aspect is wonderful so that they can place it anywhere. It is more expensive than other silver digital frames I looked at, but well worth it.

I echo the others here. The frame is beautiful, but the engineering behind it is embarrassingly bad. The stand is flimsy to the point that one has to use tricks to keep it upright. The storage capacity is tiny, they could walk to a defunct radio shack and find memory cards in their trash that would hold more pictures. The logic behind the menus seems to have been written by a dyslexic fourth-grader. Not one component is intuitive. The remote occasionally works, so there is that. The processor (and I use that term very loosely) is so slow that it takes me back to my TRS-80 days. Push a button....wait....wait...a response appears, push another button....wait...wait...wait...wait....push the button again....dammit, it took both of them, go back. Push a button...wait....wait and so it goes.
