Mommies Say Shhh!

We borrowed this book from the library originally, and my two year old son fell in love. I was so happy to find it on here on board book format! We read it quite often as it is still one of his favorites. He loves making the animal noises and pointing out all the funny details in the pictures (bunnies in the girls’ pockets, goats eating scarves, etc). Not too long or wordy, this is perfect for the younger crowd!

Love this book! We were the first one out after reading it so much to our older kids, so I got a second one for our younger kids. The pictures are fun and bright and the story is simple which is great because small kids don't get bored with it and start flipping pages before I'm done reading.

An all-time favorite in our family and a go-to baby gift.

All of our children enjoy this book, and so do I! It’s on our short list of books we gift for baby showers and new babies.

One of my favorites to read before bed, oh yeah my kids like it too! Our favorite part is what the bunnies say--won't tell you here as I don't want to spoil the fun. Bought as a gift to share the love we have for Ms. Polacco.

This is such a sweet and beautifully illustrated book. It has a very artsy feel to it. It definitely feels like something out of Denmark or the Netherlands. It is a fun read and interesting for toddlers who like to point at different things on the page as there is so much going on beyond the sentence or two on each page. It's a fun, easy read. My 18-month old daughter enjoys it very much.

My baby and I love this book. Baby will sit still for the whole book, we both enjoy the pictures, nice illustrations and lots of animals :)

Patricia Polacco is always a good choice! My children fell in love with her books years ago and now my grandchildren love them too. Her stories always catch their attention. Wonderful stories!

So cute book for toddlers-the 3 grandkids loved it ! Illustrations reminded us of our Ukrainian ancestry.
