RCA Portable DVD Player with 9-Inch Screen (DRC6309)

Came defective when purchased. DVD ejects when you bump this item would like a new one right away or will file a claim.

I hope this information will be helpful to anyone reading my review and shopping for a quality portable DVD player of this kind and brand. This 9' inch LCD screen portable DVD player was a good investment at least for me that I purchased on Amazon.com and the price I purchased it for. It was just what I was shopping for in a portable DVD player. I received it in good condition and before or by the arrival date given. All accessories were included and the description of the player was true as stated. Plays great in the car or connected to the TV. I love that it has a built in non-replaceable rechargeable battery. Plays DVD's, CD's and certain JPEG files. Sound System and picture viewing is good quality. Simple to operate and online help is available if needed. I rate it 5 stars and would recommend it to anyone shopping for this type of portable unit. Excellent take along companion when traveling with children or your viewing.

Got this item from another retailer and paid more than this price. It is cheaply made and after one week of use the motor noise became unbearable. One of the plastic buttons was permanently depressed. After troubleshooting using the manual, I called RCA for assistance. I was instructed to send the unit (at my expense to a repair company and they would fix it and send it back (at their expense). It should take about 8 weeks. I shipped it back as instructed and received it today by UPS in the same packaging with an adress label stuck on it. Imagine my surprise when I played a disc and the hum was just as loud as when I had it before. Don't waste your money. Pay a few dollars more and get a Sony or GPX which is what I had before and it lasted a very long time.

a lousy product that was broken upon arrival. did nor return because there was no return shipping labels included with the order.

This portable DVD was a replacement for one that we had for two years. We liked the first one and we wanted the exact same thing. The second one was working just fine until it had an unfortunate accident with a 2yr old and some nail polish.

This was a perfect purchase. I can't complain about anything. Great size. Great volume. Remote is a little needy, you need to be pointing directly at the sensor for it to work, but totally functional. East to use, easy to travel with, love it.

I have been well pleased with this player. My old one was smaller, and this has a larger screen.The picture and sound are great.

It was a gift for my parents and they love it. Compact and easy to use.

It is light in weight, small enough to fit in my bag, the image is clear. Easy to use. I LIKE it.
